Peppers Not on Dressed List, Chesson/Hill Are

Submitted by alum96 on

Moot point for Peppers if he is all he is made out to be, we just basically lost his services for the year as he is not going to be a 5th year guy.  No reason not to RS him if he is missing games as November approaches.

Chesson and Hill are on the dress list but as we  know from prior weeks that doesn't mean much.

Nick B also says Morris is  taking snaps pregame although right now the difference between Russ and Shane is negligible.

I don't normally swear but FUCK - what is going on with Peppers?  This is more frustrating than McGary.

Not related - there is a plane flying over Spartan Stadium with banner "Keep Brady Hoke... please"

And a group of shirtless MSU students also have Keep Brady Hoke on their chests.  I assume they are all male.

Yes it's at that point when rival fanbases are wishing for our couch to continue.  We are on full on Bobby Williams era now.

We don't know that yet. Hopefully it will prove to be true. Countess once looked like a guy who might not be here four years.

Not sure for such a hard hitting team how they enter this game with effectively 1 injury. (a backup LB who broke his arm)  Maybe they just don't make enough football sounds at practice.  Or Dantonio has indeed sold his soul to the devil.

MSU dress list, James Kittredge is on it. So is DeAnthony Arnett, who didn't travel last week. So ... pretty much everyone is dressed.

No, i follow them pretty close.  They have had zero injuries to QBs, WRs, TEs.  Langford came up with a light ankle in week 1 but was fine within a few weeks.  Their OL have had some 1 week out type of things.   Their defense has had zero  injuries outside of the tackles.

That is 2 years in a row with no significant injury outside of a backup LB.  Kind of strange.

Desmond Morgan also off the dress list - so I dont think it was "just" a broken arm which would have had him back in about 6 weeks.  Give credence for how his injury occured, which if true - would be the ultimate in stupid.  But I guess we have a medical RS there.

He didn't break his arm he tore all the tendons in his wrist after punching the window out of his door so he could get into his house/apt.

I mentioned this a while back, his dad lives in our neighborhood and although parents dont say anything about injuries or anything within the program very much his family friends did..

They told us what happened and Morgan is going to get a medical redshirt so he can also work on his masters

No. This is the same "it can't be any worse" attitude that IMO led to the Minny Shane start over Devin. It can always get worse if you put in a less capable player. Devin >> Morris >> Bellomy. Russell looked like a deer-in-the-headlights against PSU. His only hope throwing the ball would be to play "500" with Devin Funchess. Seriously. Shane has accuracy issues, but he also has a gun and a quick release to avoid sacks. If he gets his mobility back such that he can use the gun, then at least there's a chance, as Lloyd Christmas would say.

Why would he stay at Michigan?

He was injured early in the first game and they played him the rest of the first half until he injured something else.
