landing spot. will be interesting to see how he does.
Otish: M go Halloween costumes?
I've seen pictures on the internet before but my girlfriend and I are copying The Fifth Element. Myself as Bruce and girlfriend as MIla. Just great cinema.
There's only one rule.
Your girlfriend must be uber hot to pull it off.
Don't forget your multipass.
Getting her to cut her long hair instead of using a wig will be the real challenge.
Just say no to that.
Why would you want that?
I don't know how she'd manage the color/goofy bangs, but she could do the "fake bob" to correct for length.
See, it's occasionally useful to have females on mgoblog.
You should go as chris tuckers character. Just walk around the party saying korben korben korben korben korben korben korben AHHHHHHHHH! korben korben korben AHHHHHHH! With a big blonde hair cannon on your head and a rose bud leotard.
I can't decide if I should go as Lloyd Brady or EK43, their both Ann Arbor legends. But, I can only wear one, you decide.
Fun topic on a Slow night.
Last year, my 5 year old insisted on being Denard. He had the full costume, complete with the helmet with glued on dreads. My wife and I just threw on our Braylon jerseys to complete the Michigan family costume thing.
We are not that creative.
Is it safe to assume that this year your 6 year old will be going as Denard? This time without the 'glued on' crap but instead with a full-on year's growth? Or perhaps it grew out more as a flow? Either way, hair is king.
He is going as Denard again, and the younger (who is significantly smaller) is going as Vincent Smith.
Most interesting man in the world on friday night and tom cruise from Tropic Thunder on saturday night. God I love college.
I am going as the most interesting man in the world as well on wednesday and friday night. Hopefully you won't be wandering around Boulder, Co. As for saturday, I'll be going as Robin Hood.
Shouldnt you be going as your namesake? (Son of Lloyd Brady)
Wolf. Never forget.
is pretty great when walking around at 2 AM on Friday and Saturday nights.
Me and the avatar are going to go out as bananas
You going to make her do the banana splits.
See what I did there.
Sorry terrible joke.
Should go as Bananas in Pajamas. Much funnier.
The elusive Sexy Banana. Their natural habit is the Banana Hammock, which has been devastated by deforestation in recent years.
very apeeling costumes
OSU grad is always a good one. throw on a PS3 or xbox headset, find a mcdonalds hat, red apron, and a sign that says osu grad and your a mcdonalds employee.
You forgot the beer cooler filled with fecal matter. Novelty fake fecal matter will probably suffice for the purposes of your costume, but the cooler has to be FILLED if you're going to portray an OSU grad properly.
I'm going to try to pull off Dexter and my girlfriend is going to be a victim in the plastic wrap. I'll probably just end up looking like an idiot in gloves and an apron.
I'm gonna have to get my whitemorphsuit cause right now I'm gonna try a Slenderman costume
thats a good one but Im not suremany people will get it/know who he is
Ya that's what I was kind of thinking too but if I can scare the shit out of one person I will consider it a successful night
I was thinking about changing my avatar to Big Boutros for the day.
Try to go as Steve brule?
Oh god. I never thought of that. I have to do that at some point
Not Michigan related, but I'm probably going as Drunk Miggy
Any ideas for costumes involving a mullet?
The bounty hunter, its like a cape mullet.
Need one without having ridiculously long hair. Need a hair cut anyways and consideing cutting it into a mullet before cutting it off.
Kenny Powers or Barry Melrose
Considered Kenny Powers, but getting a perm would require some serious commitment lol.
Not really, man. If you set your hair on permanent rollers, you will get the tight curls even without using the permanent solution. Then the curls just wash out.
That said, you'd have to get one of those hood hair dryers or be willing to sleep in the rollers, because it will take a while for tightly-rolled hair to dry. I guess you could use styling gel (I mean like Dippity Do, not fancy Bedhead-type stuff) on slightly-damp hair to speed it up.
/again with the girl being useful
Get a bunch of your friends to do it too. One penguin is meh, two are alright, five are sweet, and ten are awesome. SCIENCE.
It's funny that you say that. We actually have 8 of us doing this.
Seeing this comment somehow negged as flamebait makes me laugh. Who's the penguin hater out there???
Some people are butt hurt because I was sticking up for Pats videos and saying they were more Michigan related than an Ohio fan sticking his head in urine. oh well
Damn, I really wanted to believe this was due to a case of irrational penguin hatred.
I hate every single penguin on or near the North Pole.
its a good thing they all live at the south pole and not at the north.
with the boards, and the internet in general. sometimes without a clear-cut /s at the end of the post, i cannot tell if someone is being sarcastic or not. To the poster gajensen I apologize for not getting it if you were being sarcastic. If you weren't being sarcastic, then i stand by my original post. but to AndrewG- thanks for calling me out either way :-)
I was being sarcastic.
You won't see me use /s often.
I know where penguins live. and I like them. Except for macaroni penguins.
Justin Boren dressed as Rich Rodriguez. Same costume, just driving around in a plow truck.
Make sure you stop by Carr's Carwash to get your plow truck washed. It's all for charity and you can donate whatever you wish. John U Bacon will be there writing a book too..
I am going as a binder full of women for Halloween.
This was the best part of the debate tonight. Hahahaha.
Was gonna throw on my Wings jersey and hockey helmet and cloak some chains/locks around it to be the NHL lockout and/or locked out NHL player. But hopefully we will have no lockout come Halloween with the new offer on the table!
Love the kids dressed up as Denard. I wish he was the qb when I was a kid so I could've done the same.
I've got a pretty solid rebel fighter costume I made a couple years ago, probably just end up wearing that. I thought about Hermes or Scruffy from Futurama, both of those are a little obscure though.
I'd really love to see a scruffy costume!
I get to wear a robe around all night with pajamas (standard day). Pop in a cigar and some hot ladies.
No one is going as Brian?
Haha I went as master shake about 3 years ago.
I'm debating between my classic "buy the ugliest suit at Salvation Army" and the way too easy "throw on a sideline polo, M hat and slacks and call myself a coach". As of right now its looking like I'm going to be a coach since its free to me.
Since I'll be hauling my 3 sugar-intoxicated/glowstick-weilding kids around the neighborhood
I'll be subtly disguised as the Exasperated Father®.
The "bear-fucker" costume from super troopers
If you're making it yourself (which I tried to do a couple years ago) you're talking about a ton of work. I was unable to finish it by Halloween after I started late, and it ended up being forgotten about.
were thinking about Terrence & Phillip and the Queef Sisters. Only three of us know South Park though, so trying to get a twenty-one year old girl to dress as a "Queef Sister" might be too tall of an order.
And it's nice to see Chris Perry still getting some love...unless we're celebrating Floyd Simmons career this Halloween.
My brother and I will be going out as "The Fog." We're dressing up in huge, billowing costumes with dry ice/fog machine just blasting fog at all the bars we go to. Will probably have a group of 5 or so people all creating havoc everywhere we go.
LOL let me know where you go, I want to see this in person.
And we're ok!
Me and my buddies were thinking about goin as the cast from that 70's show. It may not be totally obvious from what we wear, but that acting will be the most important thing. I'll be Red. My foot in ass jokes will be key all night.
My backup, seeing as my friends are likely to backout, is throwing on a bruins jersey and going as happy gilmore. Maybe shooter mcgavin.
What a douche, how insensitive can you be? Go join your neighborhood watch asshole.
It's not your fault..
is rapidly approaching the same level as MLive, substance wise at least... Yeah yeah i know, "if you dont want to read it then dont click on it, it has OT in the title"... Heard it before , still a stupid post..
Yeah, I know. Things have really degradated since August.
I'm going as Lloyd Brady for sure.
I think this is pretty groovy:
A word of advice...While in school at WMU I decided to put together an Awesomeo costume out of boxes and it was pretty awesome to say the least. Well we decided to go to a house party...ya bad choice on my part. Try walking around in a house party wearing a huge box. Everyone kept yelling "Move BOX!" and I was always..."I am not a box damnit...I am Awesomeo!"
I asked my son just the other day actually who or what he would like to be for Halloween and he in fact said, "The guy with the long hair that tackels everyone", so we will create some sort of Jake Ryan outfit for him. My daughter opted for being one of the Power Rangers, and as for me, for the Python fans, I shall be Arthur Figgis....
Spartan helmet, orange prison jumpsuit. Classic, priceless, send me a pic.
Twice I meant to wear this costume to my (sparty dominated) in-laws' party, but both of those days' games (Illinois 2009 and Penn State 2010) were such awful losses I left the costume at home and was the only person not dressed up. Misopogal's family thinks I hate Halloweeen.
So long as Dantonio is head man at MSU, that costume will always be topically relevant.
I'll be going around the neighborhood slapping Arby's stickers on children's costumes, dressing my dog up as a box of Curly Fries, rebranding my neighbor's house with a special Night Game Uniformz paint job, and spray painting #GoBlue in everyone's yard
Get you and 49 of your closest friends to all where grey shirts. 50 shades of grey!!!
Get you and 49 of your closest friends to all where grey shirts. 50 shades of grey!!!
So no zombie Joe Pa...?
Yeah, probably too soon.
when I was a student I saw three costumes I'll never forget. The first was a "Duffman" costume that a kid made himself, and it was incredible, right down to the beer holding utility belt.
The second was a friend of a friend who was in the acting program and he went as captain jack sparrow. He looked so much like him he could've been an impersonator, and the costume that he built was 100% deadon.
The last was the best free costume I've ever seen. Guy is at a party wearing blue jeans only, no shirt. People ask him what he's going as, and he replies "premature ejaculation - I just came in my pants."
Me and some buddies are carrying a door around with a sign that says "Please Knock." When they knock we give them candy.
If you want to be the scariest on Halloween, go as Dantonio's smile....
The cover of "Faces of Meth"
