Other Noon Games Thread
With Michigan destroying UConn, as expected, figured there may be folks who start flipping to other games going on right now.
OU is crushing Nebraska, 49-7.
Indiana is on their way to losing to WKU, 24-13.
Northwestern is in a barnburner with Illinois. Wait, scratch that, they're struggling with Southern Illinois.
Purdue leads Syracuse, 9-3, but the Orange are on the doorstep.
Temple has an early lead on Rutgers, 7-0.

Cuse scores and now leads, 10-9.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:01 PM ^
Pending what happens tonight with PSU and MSU this might be a banner "Big 2, little 12" season.
September 17th, 2022 at 4:46 PM ^
Sure is shaping up that way although I wouldn't count either MSU or PSU out. Both have enough talent to stay with UM and OSU
September 17th, 2022 at 3:06 PM ^
The Fightin' Fitzgeralds are about to go down two touchdowns to Southern Illinois.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:09 PM ^
BIG TEN!!!
September 17th, 2022 at 3:25 PM ^
You need to rephrase that - Big Ten West - which is just pathetic. Big East was 14-0 going into today
September 17th, 2022 at 3:47 PM ^
BIG TWEST!
September 17th, 2022 at 3:08 PM ^
Trying to follow ND’s futility is a real pain in the ass when they aren’t ranked because there’s no filter on the CBS scoreboard for the independent assholes league
September 17th, 2022 at 3:15 PM ^
Other than the good guys, B1G looks horrible today.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:17 PM ^
Charlie Jones is going to have more receiving yardage than the entire Iowa offense will all season, and it'll probably be by a large margin.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:20 PM ^
Lol, ND's offense is pathetic. 20 yards through one quarter. Drew Pyne is 4/9 for 27 yards.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:24 PM ^
And Pyne promptly fumbles.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:27 PM ^
Charlie Jones' talent was completely wasted in Iowa City. Why on earth would any WR sign up to play for Ferentz?
September 17th, 2022 at 3:29 PM ^
Purdont doing what it takes to lose. The Bigten is woof!
September 17th, 2022 at 3:30 PM ^
B10 is dreadful this year. Esp. B10 West. UM/OSU look legit, jury out on MSU/PSU. Everyone else looks pretty weak.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:31 PM ^
Purdue's still got a shot. Cuse will punt it back to them with 2:30 left.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:33 PM ^
Remember back in week 1 when we thought Purdue might win the West because they too PSU to the bitter end. Indeed, they should have won that game!
Well, Purdue sucks. And I'm not sure what that says about PSU, other than PSU probably also sucks.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:37 PM ^
Purdue down to the 14 on a big 3rd & 10 catch!
September 17th, 2022 at 3:37 PM ^
Go for the win Boilers. Do not play for a FG (and OT) on the road.
EDIT: Good job!
September 17th, 2022 at 3:37 PM ^
I’m starting to think Brian Kelly knew something we don’t about this ND team
September 17th, 2022 at 4:51 PM ^
Don't think it's their talent level as much as it is lack of coaching. They've had a few players projected to go high in the 2023 NFL draft before the season started. Freeman should never have been named the HC and this is on their administration as they caved to what the players wanted.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:38 PM ^
Cal was not close to being off sides... wtf
September 17th, 2022 at 3:38 PM ^
Nice, Purdue. The B1G West isn’t a complete embarrassment this week.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:50 PM ^
My comment above, turns out to be wrong. The West division is very not good. Double plus bad, even.
September 17th, 2022 at 4:52 PM ^
Double plus bad? That's being kind to that train wreck of a division
September 17th, 2022 at 3:40 PM ^
Norte Dame was given a HUGE break with that phantom offsides call. Nobody moved. Nobody looked close to being offsides.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:46 PM ^
Exactly. Terrible officiating. They should be embarrassed for making that call. Hope ND loses.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:40 PM ^
PU and SU really do not want to win this game.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:40 PM ^
Fucking ND. Missed a FG try, only to get bailed out by a phantom offsides call to score a TD. Most ND thing ever. I don’t think it’s sustainable and Cal wins in the end.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:47 PM ^
They showed an overhead view. Nobody moved. That ref must have had money on the game or was a homeboy or plain awful.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:41 PM ^
Purdue gets the go-ahead TD, then gets an unsportsmen like penalty after the kick. The the PU HC gets another flag for the same thing. 'Cuse has returners at the 30, with 51 seconds left.
Dumb.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:42 PM ^
Returned to the 50. All three timeouts left for the Orange.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:43 PM ^
Jeff Brohm remains a hothead.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:42 PM ^
Purdue commits an idiotic unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, giving Cuse amazing field position to begin their drive.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:44 PM ^
Indiana 30 - W. Kentucky 30. Indiana allowing WKU to drive for an f.g. with 4 seconds left through incompetence.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:44 PM ^
Purdue is so dumb.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:45 PM ^
Clifford just got fucking rocked.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:46 PM ^
Shocked...
September 17th, 2022 at 3:46 PM ^
WKU misses a game-winning FG and the game heads to OT.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:47 PM ^
I'm not rooting for Penn State, I'm rooting against Auburn. Definitely a meteor game.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:47 PM ^
Sean Clifford just absolutely got his clock cleaned.
if he keeps getting hit even remotely close like that, he’s not lasting very long this season.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:50 PM ^
He got SMACKED!
September 17th, 2022 at 3:47 PM ^
Purdon’t’ed w penalties…
September 17th, 2022 at 3:47 PM ^
I don't like that call overturning the 'Cuse catch. His toe clearly touched down inside before his heel came down. I get that the rule says the whole foot has to be down in that situation, I just don't like it. It's no different from a toe drag, which is perfectly fine.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:51 PM ^
Is the one foot toe drag allowed in college?
September 17th, 2022 at 3:48 PM ^
How’s that not an uncatchable ball? Refs giving Cuse all the chances they needed
September 17th, 2022 at 3:48 PM ^
Purdue!!!! WTF are you doing?!?!?!?
September 17th, 2022 at 4:53 PM ^
Maybe Scott Frost snuck onto their coaching staff?
September 17th, 2022 at 3:48 PM ^
Purdue ... Big Twest strikes again.
September 17th, 2022 at 3:49 PM ^
Syracuse wins on a beautiful TD pass!
