OT: WLA Focusing on Northwestern

Submitted by Elno Lewis on

Well, my friends over at the WLA have gone over the edge.  They have switched allegiances and are now rooting for the Northwestern Wildcats.  I do not know why anyone would support a team from the state of Chicago, but they are.  Perhaps its too much Zima, or too long of a ride on a Unicorn.  Whatever the case, they have completely lost it.  They are now the Wildcats Liberation Army.

Deal with it.

Does this mean that the Wolverines have been liberated? Perhaps the Wildcats were more deserving of liberation? Maybe the WLA have been captured by Wildcats and are now in need of liberation?

Is it time to start an AFTLOTWLA (Army For The Liberation Of The Wolverine Liberation Army)?

Those are some pretty persuasive arguments for being an NU fan. Might have to cancel my season tickets and move to Evanston.

I believe you.  It was an awesome piece.  I would list my favorite part, but it was all too perfect.

Alright, fine the Iowa part and Brewer/Markhausen making the team by sinking a half-court shot were extra hilarious.  I think I was there when they did it!

The "Welcome" piece is pretty funny.  That is no joke about walking in to Ryan Field with whatever you want though, people take 12 packs, bottles of booze, whatever...it's bananas.

is pretty rad.  I'm looking forward to them beating up on $party during the MICH bye week.  Maybe I'll drive over to the state of Chicago and enjoy the festivities.
