I woke up and thought "Huh. It's a shame there's no basketball game today" (I hear there was also definitely not a lacrosse game today as well) So I then I worked on my taxes and balancing my checkbook while I look forward to the PSU game at 5

Woke up around 7:00 am because my internal clock said it was time to get up even though i went to bed at 2.  I watched some premiere league and made some food that will last me for the rest of the weekend.

I contemplated going down to Duffy's (in chicago) for the game but since it was snowing I decided against it.  Now I am drinking some vodka + diet Dew, watching Wolf of Wall Street and some dope eps of House Hunters.

Repping the Michigan hockey jersey and ready to watch them play well against the Nittany Lions.

I shaved my ass and sat in a bowl of everclear. It was delightful. Then I made the mistake of watching ESPN from 2-4 EST and I doubled over in pain.

Among various sundry chores, I did what probably 3/4th of the residents of the Great Lakes region have done numerous times throughout the course of this particularly brutal winter - I went outside with a hammer and no gloves when it was only 8 degrees outside and hammered ice out of my wheel wells so my front wheels would actually move again.

Took the wife and kids to the Palm Beach Zoo. At first, I was like "Oh shit! I forgot about the game!" Then I checked for the score and realized that there was no game and decided to swear at a Koala. The rest of the day was swell.

reading, barn chores with the kids, coached the twins hockey practice, shopped on way home, made late b-fast for all, moved snow with the front-end loader, lots of it, got on couch and watched a team get down 11-4 and decided that nap time was a better choice (very wise).  now going to shovel the roof.

And spent more money than intended. Forgot the game that didn't happen started at 2. Checked the non score on way home and realized it was better I forgot about the non game.

Looked at a classic car and negotiated a great deal.  Decided on the way home to pass on it.

Saw the score on my Sirius and decided to listen to Ed Lover instead.

Passed because the owner had gooped on so much undercoating I couldn't tell the condition of the floors/trunk.  I think he was trying to hide some rot.  Second problem was it wasn't registered/inspected and since he was in Philly I wasn't taking any chances on the PoPo writing me a ticket on the testdrive.

Too many unknowns.  Seller presented it as driveable right now but backpedaled when I pressed him on it.  I had the seller down 20% from his asking price AND he was going to deliver it ~200mi to my house but gut feeling said I should walk.

I either passed up a great deal or dodged big problems.

Most importantly, The Bride isn't very supportive of my car purchase decision and I don't want to deal with hearing what a bad idea it was if there is a problem.  I took my 16yo son with me and he wanted my to buy it terribly.
