...and you'll get the inside joke.
What's their QB situation? I assume Rice is a place he can probably get a shot at starting.
We’ll know soon if/when there’s another transfer announcement.
Pretty sure Sam McGuffie is there for wildcat and flip plays.
Isn't John O'Korn there on a grad transfer?
There are 4 QBs on the roster (Wiley Green, TJ McMahon, Jake Constantine, and Jovani Johnson), but none are the prohibitive favorite to start.
I think they want Luke to get the job. Interestingly, their OC was Christian's OC at Stanford.
Does he have to sit out a year now? My understanding is you get a one time transfer with immediate eligibility. He transferred to Louisville even if it was only for a very short period of time. Wouldn't that use up his one time penalty free transfer?
I recall that was Harbaugh's Idea, was that ever formerly adopted? I cannot keep track anymore.
He never took a class at Louisville. He's good to go immediately.
I think he could honestly help NMU.
(N)ot (M)uch of a (U)niversity
OT: QB Luke McCaffrey to Rice…for now
The McCaffery storyline has begun to bore me.
I thought it would be Quinoa...
well, for the moment.
still waiting for dylan's re-transfer announcement.
Would that lead to Luke re-re-transferring to play for his dad?
I think his dad already has a QB. I can't remember his name, tho.
Edit: Nevermind.
I hear Luke McCaffrey is locked in a fierce battle with Tate Martell for most transfers.
By Thursday he'll be at North South East West State University College For The Lost.
My cousin went to NSEWSUC
Maybe he will go to EBFCC
I hear the South Harmon Institute of Technology is starting a team.
(Ask me about my weiner!)
Minute Rice
Makes sense that you would leave Nebraska and Louisville to join the Rice "Cradle of QBs" Owls.
- 1991: Donald Hollas was picked in middle of the 4th round by the Bengals.
- 1977: Tommy Kramer was chosen 27th in the 1st round by the Vikings.
- 1958: King Hill was the first overall pick (!!!) by the Chicago Cardinals.
- 1958: In that same draft, Frank Ryan was chosen by the Rams in the 5th round.
- 1950: Tobin Rote was the third pick in the second round by the Packers.
Thank you for digging this up. I remember Tommy Kramer because he had some good games against the Lions.
Forgot that Tobin Rote and Frank Ryan were also from Rice. I remembered Ryan from being a Cleveland Brown QB back during the Jim Brown era, and earning a math phd.
And we should care because...?
Because Rice
dude's fast.....
Fitzmagic he ain't. That guy is well on his way to actually winning a game with all 32 NFL franchises.
Is this just the compact version of VisionQuest though?
Trying to make a livin' and doin' the best he can
He must be going into hiding.
The mcCaffreys and the Forciers should get together for a scrimmage.
