OT- Nintendo Classic Edition to be released in November

Submitted by ShruteBeetFarms on

Nintendo is releasing a new classic edition console in November. It's supposed to retail for $60.00. It will contain 30 games that you probably use to love as a kid. It's probably been two decades since I have played video games, but I will splurge for this. The pic below shows the console fitting into the palm of your hand. The games included are:

Yup. While this is a good list, there are plenty others that I and other people would like to have available. The fact that more games cannot be added to this thing is crap.

First game I looked for was Contra, second game was ninja turtles. Obviously I will still be buying. Kung Fun was also very underrated. You could string together some pretty cool low high punch kick combos

Having gone back and played a bunch of NES and even Super NES games a major issue is that a vast majority did not have a Save feature. So it's real hard to pick up and set down when you're playing the first three levels of the game every time

Is my favorite game of all time. I have an emulated version of it and ff ii on my laptop and still play them occasionally. FFII actually may be a bit better, but they're both amazing

but Galaxians™ was better. And why no Missile Command™? I used to get all my inside recruiting information back in the 80s from some dude who battled me in that classic game.

Was Metal Gear hands down IMHO. That game was ahead of its time and would lay the foundation for being a smash hit on the playstation. I would pay 60 bones to play that game again.

Zelda, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Contra, Rad Racer, Kid Icarus, Super Mario 2 & 3 were my other favorites.

I never did beat Zelda II because I sucked at it. And when I started getting the hang of it, my system died for good. This is one game that I need to finish.
