I would personally love the Lions to trade up and grab Cordy Glenn this round, but if they don't I think it's very possible that Janoris falls to us in the 2nd round.

would be so awesome if Jenkins slid to us in the second but not holding my breath. Prolly need to grab a RB later too with LeShoure and Best both far from sure things. Get some young legs to grind some carries and hopefully fall into a good one.

kinda iffy on taking Riley R over Decastro when the Lions entire OL is a need and DeCastro is an elite OG and RR is an good B10 OT. IMO, Backus was better coming out. I wanted DeCastro to be there at 23 and was bummed we passed. Steelers once again benefit late by teams reaching for need, lol. I also know we need a MLB and I want us to grab Burfict late. Dude had a bad combine but I'll trust 4 yrs of tape over a meaninglessly ran 40. Same reason Poe was a joke of a pick so high, IMO. kid wasnt even the best DL on his team at Memphis and in a poor conference! However, he killed the combine and people ignore years of mediocre tape (yes, I know he had a bunch of DCs in his career but his combine ability alone should have overcome that, right?) Lions still need another OL, LB and DB. lets hope we can get some steals. also, LOVE the new rookie cap. trades and such are back and thats so awesome.

Did anyone see that couple at the Rangers game keep the foul ball even after the little kid cried? It looks like they even taunted the poor guy. Assholes.

Well speculation on 2nd round prospects. I said it earlier in this thread but I would love to trade up and grab Cordy Glenn, or even Peter Konz, and just like that the o-line would be upgraded big time. If they decide to go the CB route, than maybe Jenkins is there or Brandon Boykin or possibly Josh Robinson from UCF.

Potential Candidates (in no specific order):

CB - Janoris Jenkins, N. Alabama

CB - Josh Robinson, UCF

OT - Jonathan Martin, Stanford

OT - Mike Adams, Ohio

LB - Zach Brown, UNC

WR - Alshon Jeffery, S. Carolina

Personally, I'm praying Jonathan Martin falls to us...This would allow Reiff to play RT or RG and not LT where we'd have a smaller, shorter arms, not as athletic player there like we do now with Backus.

Martin has what you look for in at LT...I think he'd make a better LT than Reiff, but if Reiff can play RT he'll end up being the better player. But to get two bookends would be HUGE!

If we can't get Martin, I say go CB. Jenkins is the better fit and more talented, but comes with baggage. Robinson is more than solid.

Following them I got Brown, then Jeffery...I'd take Adams in the 3rd round if he was around and we didn't take Martin in the 2nd.

I'm not sure he makes his way into the 2nd round...seemed like a 3rd rounder to me.

With that said, I LOVE his game. If we could somehow get Jonathan Martin in the 2nd round and Brandon Boykin in the 3rd....WHEW!! I'd be going NUTS!!

That's my first scenario, the 2nd hopeful is Josh Robinson/Jenoris Jenkins in the 2nd and Mike Adams in the 3rd. Although we can't take two question marks in Jenkins and Adams, we'd have to change our colors to hemp green.
