I was going through some pictures that my wife had taken and came across this one. It's my daughter at 4 months old. No caption needed.
Well she is in the 75th percentile for height and 90th for weight. We'll work on the grades.
Did you just call her fat?
No, the Doctor did...
No worries, my little guy will be 6 months on the 28th and he's already 22 lbs.
Yes, he can play DT, just not yet. And yes, I've got his S&C program drawn up and some infant whey protein on order.
They burn all that stuff off when they learn to walk. A newly walking toddler is the best parent exercise plan ever.
Why is she even watching sports? As a woman, she is not qualified to comment on men's sports. Get her some barbies.
Seriously, she is adorable, and good to see you're getting her into Michigan early. No substitute for imprinting early.
Appropriate distance from the tv and minimal distractions in the room so as to avoid diverting her attention.
if she could kick but we have a kicker now! Woop!
Can she tackle?
I gave you a plus for the cool pic, not sure why you are so neg on the points man. Have you been to Bolivia? Or was it a Negaton Bomb that got you?
and thank you I am one proud Dad thats for sure!!!!
Plus 1 a few times to get you back north of the Mendoza line.
Everyone can use an epic meltdown every so often. It's good for the soul; bad for the point totals.
And both already bigger than Daddy!
Are you sure he isn't just standing a step below them?
And he's sticking with it.
Nice job dad!
All major Michigan fans! By 12 months, my youngest was yelling 'GO BLUE!' and raising a fist at the first sign of football on the TV... I have my own little cheerleading crew in the living room during every game
All I can say is well done.
Put some kicker instructional videos on the TV on permaloop, attached some of of those jogging weights to her ankles to build strength and start developing us a blue chip recruit.
she could become a sportswriter who actually knows what she's talking about!
I love that picture. What game is she watching?
She looks like she is really into it too! I'm betting that a rattle gets thrown every time we miss a kick.. Here's a pic of my daughter at fan day.
is your daughter?
Might not be the best time to comment on this, but damn we need to improve our cheerleaders. Those girls are dicey at best.
That's the dance team actually. Maybe the coaching controversy is messing with their personnel, too?
I could go for some dicey at best right about now.
I tried to mack on the blonde on the far right at Quickee Burger before the UConn game... No such luck.
Keep up the good work and maybe her first word will be "football!" Dad says mine was "hockey," Mom wasn't too pleased.
After all, you're wearing pearls to the bowl game!
Raised on Baby Einstein? Nahh, Baby Denard.
You and your daughter win the Internet. Seriously, I would be very surprised if that picture does not get posted all over the place. Awesome.
My wife would have shot me for doing that! Our recently turned two year old says Go Blue whenever she sees the Block M. Love it!!
If you hadn't already won the Internet, I'd say you won it again. Awesome.
If I could +1 again, I would....
Here is Chris Relf with 75% of my offspring taken last Saturday. He is very nice and says, "Anything for the kids" a lot. He is nearly as likeable as I imagine Denard to be.
That's awesome; I respect Miss. State and really hope for a great bowl game.
Miss St. happens to be the only SEC team I can stand.
sidenote: what's with the verydemotivational.com tag at the bottom of the picture?
I was having trouble uploading the picture directly, so I uploaded to the cheezeburger network as an intermediate step. Thanks for asking.
my wife wouldn't let me name him denard
That is THE best shirt i've ever seen! So did you name him Robinson?
he already knows how to signal TOUCHDOWN! That's impressive.
Congrats on the newborn.
EDIT: check out all that hair already. He's going to have some impressive dreads.
I laughed so hard and called the wife over to see. Only after she asked who posted it did I realize it was you. Merry Xmas buddy - you in state on the west side?
Hah yea got in Thursday night. You and the wife around?
I'dve gottn there by Sunday but had to ship out some eBay stuff
or more, then you will understand the season a lot more.
If you want your name to live on, buy a building and put your name on it. Cheaper alternative!
My oldest daughter just got accepted to Michigan last week. She can't kick, but I am very proud!!!!!
I would like to point out that the American Pediatrics Association recommends that one not let their child watch TV until at least 2 years old. The images move too fast (especially Denard) for the still-developing mind of an infant. Such TV (and computer) images can lead to ADHD.
Not trying to be a dick, just trying to help by providing information.
My 6 month old's excersaucer sits literally 18 inches away from my 46 inch. He was in it watching O Brother Where art Thou the other night; I've never seen him so happy. Cackling laughter, screeching with delight.
There are 2 things my 15 month old daughter loves to watch, one is "Jacks Big Music Show" on nick junior, and the other is Michigan football. She's been doing the touchdown sign since she was 8 months old. She was 2 days old during the Indiana game in 2009, I watched it while holding her in the hospital (we had to stay an extra couple days because she had a mild infection). She's on her way to being a die hard M fan like me. I also have converted my wife from a state fan to loving Michigan.
I have converted my wife from being a ND fan. Both my girls are also die hard Michigan fans also. Its hard to raise your kids right while living in the heart of ohio, but it has happened. They will one day be Michigan women soccer players.
