I admit I have no idea why he's delaying the press conference, but based on everything that has been said about him the last week, i.e. he's playing around with the media a la DeAnthony Arnett, it doesn't sound like he's being noble about this whole process. Yeah he's 17 and immature if that's the case, but you didn't see any of our other recruits mess around like this. |

food (new haven only specialties): pepe's/sally's pizza miya's sushi burrito lunch carts. way better than chipotle or btb. blasphemy, i know, but you'll see.
living:
east rock area is nice if you want to live closer to town. lots of grad students there if that's what you're looking for. otherwise there are plenty of suburbs around. avoid hamden, or anywhere along dixwell ave. for that matter
games: don't think there are many specific sports bars. most standard places just have NESN and YES on all the time, unfortunately, so it'll be harder to watch michigan games if you don't have directv or something. yale-harvard (the other Game) is nice to check out. nothing like the actual Game, but still worth going at least once for the experience.
other things to do: not a whole lot, although yale theater is pretty good. toad's gets decent bands to come every once in a while. climb east rock, maybe?
