Gisele Bundchen, who you may know as the wife of Super Bowl Hero and 100% Certified Michigan Man Tom Brady, is retiring from modelling in order to spend more time with her family.

Transitioning from a dual- to single- income family is a difficult choice with both benefits and drawbacks. I wish them the best of luck in navigating what are sure to be challenging days ahead.

what happened to that company mission statement. I feel for it really hard, too. On topic, I'd never kick her out of bed but I've never found Gisele (Giselle?) to be that amazing. For an average schmuck like me? Absolutely! As a supermodel? Average. I'm very partial to Tom's first baby momma. Bridgette Moynihan (sp), correct? Always thought she was crazy good looking.

Is this your 5th username?  I mean really dude, you will be banned within the hour.  Why not make it for good, and actually do something productive with your life.

Her loyal subjects don't plan on telling her she's not wearing any....

I'm sure that the first couple of New England have no investments and will simply have to depend on the fortunes of her husband going forward and later the kindness of strangers.

I came to troll and satisfy my sick pathetic desires, but now I am saddened by this blog and to hear this news.

Its work.  First of all the competition is extremely fierce.  They send aspiring models on countless cattle calls for 'auditions' and its not easy to get picked.  Then you have to get up extremely early every day for shoots and fitings, get made up, stand around in various poses etc...not to mention the physical sacrifices needed for their bodies to stay fit.  These ladies work.

Make this spreadsheet. Write that TPS report. Get coffee, turn around, take this memo off the printer, return to desk.

Most American workers aren't slaving away in coal mines. She has a good job no doubt, but it clearly fits into any reasonable definition of "work".

"Retiring" only from the runway.  She has another 30-40 years left of product endorsements, public appearances, possible books etc.

All I can say is that I would attempt to model for $47 million in a year too, but aside from maybe my wife reassuring me that I do not look all the comical, there is no way at all it would ever happen. You're definitely doing something right when you can make that sort of money in an extremely competitive environment.

Arguably no one on this planet will have a better, easier life than her. One of the most beautiful women on the planet, who could've gotten by in life on her looks alone, married to one of the most successful athletes on the face of the planet, who is also making millions upon millions alongside her.

Some were just born lucky, my friends.

is why I'm positive that if reincarnation is real, I was a serial killer or chicken rapist or something lol. My past self was or did something atrocious! I've got the worst luck ever. My life is like every Ben Stiller movie where he pays a guy that just gets shit on by circumstance, perception & being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Beyond your control type stuff. My life (down to the "that can't be real" name) is basically Stiller in Meet the Parents/Fockers. One giant, cosmic, "why me?" dump on his face after another. My life. Then, you have Tom Brady & family lol. I'm being very facetious as the overall world circumstances of my birth could have been much worse but I'm not exaggerating about being the real Gaylord Focker. Not one bit.
