OT- El Assico is playing up to its name

Good lord. Into the 3rd quarter, Petras is 6/13 for 33 yds, Iowa is 21 for 59 on the ground with the drive chart below so a Brian Ferentz special. It is amazing he brought a consultant in over the offseason to fix the passing game. This could be considered cruel and unusual punishment if you were forced to witness this live. Big Ten!

I switched away from that game to finish watching Notre Dame lose. Now I'm seeing if TAMU can escape App State.

I'll head back to El Assico if something happens.

We should really all take a second to appreciate the evil defensive masterminds behind all this. I love to see the opposite of a Rich Rod (total devotion to offense, all good players switch to offense) in action. We likely won’t see anything like this for a long time. Or until we see Iowa again next year that is.

I am not willing to guarantee that we will win at Kinnick, and don't need to rehash why.

However if I was a betting man, I would wager everything I hold dear in the universe on us *outgaining* Iowa.

Brian Ferentz's offense has scored 10 points through 1.85 games. What level of football would be he coaching if his daddy wasn't the king of Iowa? HS JV? 7th grade? Pee Wee?

Lol, Matt Campbell calls timeout and negates a QB sneak that would've resulted in a first down.

And then calls a shotgun run that almost doesn't get the needed one yard.
