ESPN made it sound like braxton was a slight lean to the NFL last night

Next year QB pool will be much stronger. Besides, he is going to leave losing his last home game next year.
January 4th, 2014 at 11:24 PM ^
This is completely wrong. You do realize this class has the most QBs projected in the top 10 ever I believe?
January 4th, 2014 at 8:35 PM ^
by any means. Guyton had as good of a season, and Urban refused to put the kid in. If after 2.5+ years of starting, he is not an NFL QB, it's unlikely another year does anything.

most likely. I actually think he should have went. he was getting hammered yesterday. I don't see that changing next season. Plus, Hyde is gone.

Problem is, I don't think his draft stock as a Qb is every going to improve. So if he wants to be a Qb, he needs to leave now and get some NFL tutoring. I think if he stays another year, he'll be drafted as an athlete like Denard. All depends on what the kid wants.
And I don't think anybody drafting him as a Qb is going to cut him unless he's just woeful. They're going to draft him knowing he's a long term project.

He's not built physically to play as a running back. The shoulders of an NFL running back take a pounding in the hole; Miller would never be able to handle more than a few carries a game.

And he has 20 touches on the season; never more than 4 in a game.

So somebody who's 6-2 and 215+ isn't physically built to play RB in the NFL?
OK.

He doesn't have the frame of a running back.
Beanie Wells is the same height as Braxton Miller and came out of OSU 10 pounds heavier. You can look at a picture and tell me the difference in body type. He isn't a running back.

He comes out of the game with an injury to pout for a minute in every single game...
January 4th, 2014 at 6:51 PM ^
The senior OL he and Hyde enjoyed is going to the NFL...that ought to get him some more opportunities to run away from trouble.
Adversity is coming to other programs too.
Ohio has some fanbase issues with their defense over the last 3 games. In contrast, Our fanbase is well-beaten at this point and doesn't raise such a ruckus. We are on the hunt for optimisim! 8-)

Brad Smith has had an okay NFL career.

Hines Ward
From wikipedia (I know, but this is not the most academic post):
Ward played some quarterback his sophomore year, and holds Georgia bowl records for pass attempts, pass completions, and passing yards in the 1995 Peach Bowl in which he completed 31 of 59 passes for 413 yards.

Randle-El was very good as a Steelers. I say very good, probably worth a 3rd or 4th round pick. He was a pretty good receiver. The Steelers also utilized him well with fakes so he could pass.

hesiman winner,Scott Frost too.

His best year was his senior year and some guy from Michigan was the HT recipient that year.

He did complete 22/28 passes (16/18 for the Steelers!) with 6 TDs. Mostly he was a speedy all-round athlete and solid football player. I don't see Miller lining up at receiver much, though - he'd seem to be more a running back kind of guy who can throw some, and I doubt he's prototypical enough to excite a lot of NFL teams in that role.

Weird. Normally the highly rated Running Backs like to go early.
