Let's just go ahead and hire Saban! Surely, Stephen Ross can afford to pony up far more to get him than folks in Alabama can to keep him, right?

Phyllis is funny. "The dynasty... all these decades...." Does anyone remember the years of Dubose, Franchione, Shula and do you count Mike Price? With the exception of the year they went to the Orange Bowl (and lost to us), they sucked for a decade before Saban.

She was talking to Cowherd because he said this...

``Alabama's dynasty is over,'' says @ESPN_Colin. ``I predicted Gus Malzahn was going to own Nick Saban. He's going to own him.''

Colin is right.  It's much better to be an Auburn fan right now.

I can't even imagine what would be happening in Tuscaloosa if they had our problems right now. The whole city would burn down.

One way or another, I think that's going to be an awfully depressed fanbase whenever Saban retires/leaves for another gig. Bama literally struck gold with that hire. There's almost no way that whoever replaces Saban can sustain the level of success he's had. Now that Bama fans have tasted that success, anyone that comes in after him is going to be expected to deliver national titles in year one. Coming back down to Earth is going to be an extremely harsh reality for Bama fans. They've been riding high since Saban set foot on campus, and I'm not sure they'll know how to come down.

I like how in Alabama "Roll Tide" is a common form of punctuation and is commonly used to end normal sentences

I went to the grocery store today roll tide

How was school today roll tide

The cancers terminal roll tide

I am by no means a Paul Finebaum fan, but I do have to respect him grudgingly for holding back what had to be great laughter because I clearly couldn't - I was giggling from the first "cow turd" on admittedly. So irrational, so over the top, but so Alabama. I have a suspicion the most epic meltdowns were never on the air anywhere, but this was chuckleworthy.

Trying not to bother my cubicle neighbors at the office while laughing so hard... thank you, Phyllis from Mulga, Alabama, you just made my day.

I love how Finebaum just sits there blankly and lets her speak her mind, too -- that adds a whole other level of humor to the clip.

"COW-TURD... THE DYNASTY IS NOT OVER! KISS ... MY ... BUTT!! ROLL TIDE!!"
