An Ohio State football coach was carjacked during a recruiting trip in Cleveland.

According to Cleveland.com, the incident occurred when tight ends coach Keenan Bailey was recruiting near Ginn Academy. The incident resulted in a police chase and the arrest of four suspects between 15 and 18 years old.

Bailey, 28, was not harmed in the incident and has resumed recruiting, Cleveland.com reported. Bailey posted a photo of himself in Canada on Tuesday.

The Ginn Academy was founded by legendary Cleveland Glenville HC Ted Ginn, Sr.  It's an all boys school in a pretty rough section of East Cleveland do not terribly shocking that this happened but I'm glad the coach wasnt injured.

FWIW Glenville is a major talent pipeline to OSU for Ohio kids but coach Ginn never shut the door on Michigan recruiting like some of his fellow Ohio high school coaches did when Tressel & Meyer were running the program.  Ginn's a good man.

Yeah, definitely some needed context.

In some news that only we care about, now they just put Mo Hurst on fucking IR and I am sad.  This team is held together with duct tape and used big league chew.  He outplayed his contract so bad I don't think we will be able to afford him next year.  I can't recall a year where the injury bug hit us this bad.

Hey that's nothing.    Jed Wills went on season ending IR earlier today and MKC just said Delpit will probably go on IR through the end of the year.  So to recap we've lost the following so far for the year

QB

RB

LT

RT

DT

SS

Throw in Myles playing with one arm, Ward out three games and Cooper's banged up.  He wont win it but Stefanski's coaching his ever loving ASS off this year and somehow still winning in spite of all that with our 4th QB.  Unfuckingreal.

"The incident resulted in a police chase ..."

Well, there's one key difference between Cleveland in Chicago. In the latter, the incident would generally not result in a police chase.

When I took a job in Cleveland, it was a very easy decision to buy a house in the sticks and drive 40 min to work every day

they do not fuck around in that city. im more comfortable in Detroit, Chicago or Cincinnati
