I'm also rooting against Boise, but I'd say they are elite or at least very close to it. I just think schedule strength should be a big factor in who goes to the championship.

EDIT: Laughing at the people that say this proves Boise State as a pretender, like Nevada wouldn't of beaten Auburn with that second half performance (as well as Boise State not being able to beat any other top 10 team).

Boise has to play like 3 semi-real games a year. They gameplan super extensively for each one. Yeah, fine, they're pretty good but I have not seen anything to suggest they could play a big conference schedule where you have 3-4 big games a year and every in-conference week bar one or two you are left with a conceivable chance of losing.
They have their offense to blame for this one. Nevada's defense isn't that good and their d-line ate Boise ALIVE in the second half. Ridiculous.
Also, poor kicker. He'll never get a drink in Idaho again, assuming he makes it through the next few weeks. Can't imagine feeling much worse about sports.
