Open Thread: Michigan @ Indiana

Big game to see where we are at this early in the season. Change the channel from this miserable UA All American Game.

This is going to be a rough season. I like our squad but we're overrated and we're currently lacking depth in our big guys. I'll be happy if we're above .500 after B1G play. We're not there yet, not even close right now, but with the combination of our younger players and our recruiting, we won't be out for long.

I don't think it's that crazy. We have very little presence in the post right now. If J-Mo goes down, we're screwed. And, I like our squad, but I don't like our schedule. We have a brutal run over our entire B1G schedule. Hardaway hasn't been playing up to expectations and it's tough to rely on Burke for so much of our offense. He's very good, but he's still a freshman and he's learning.

Indiana can flat out shoot the lights out. That crowd is crazy and they have the best shooting team in the country. I don't expect Michigan to win but I want to see the team play well and not get pummeled. Keep under 12 by half and see what happens.

is nice. Just face the fact that Indiana is good. For us to win in Bloomington is hard to ask of, but I always have faith. Still in the game at the half too. Hardaway will step up in the 2nd half.

The only possible call I disagree with is the Novak block/charge.  After watching it several times, however I agree with the call.

Novak got his feet there in time to take the charge (which is why he was livid) however, his arms were not straight up - he fouled the guy with his arms extended before he took the charge.

The Hardaway charge was correct.

Mich was down 33-18 with 5 to go in the half when Belien went off on the team; Michigan outscored IU 14-6 to close out the half. Always good to see your team fight back in hostile environs. Way to go Blue.

The only player playing to his ability right now is Morgan. Maybe Stu minus a couple jittery plays. We won't have a chance unless Tim goes off, or Burke & Tim play at least to their average.
