That was an amazing comeback win. We looked super rusty in the first half but clamped down on defense in that second half. Dickinson didn't shoot super well, but rebounded on both ends, was great on defense, and really played well down the stretch

we're back!
February 14th, 2021 at 3:07 PM ^
Hell yeah! I'm at work so I didn't get to watch it. Last time I checked we were down 10. Good comeback boys.

We are an ELITE team! Bang, bang, bang.
potter and reuvers combined for zero rebounds. Dominated on the glass by Hunter.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:08 PM ^
Potter and Ruevers are soft.

What a win. It helps that Wisconsin went cold from 3 but that probably balances out them being hot from 3 early. Great job by the team to hang in there and just chip away
Also, Brad Davison still sucks apparently. Get out of here with that chicken wing being a 'basketball move'. That's an intentional elbow to Mike's face

A-maizing! Go Blue!
February 14th, 2021 at 3:07 PM ^
This team has grit. There are so many reasons for us to lose this game.
I’m impressed
February 14th, 2021 at 3:07 PM ^
After a few week layoff, I'll take it.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:07 PM ^
The last 2-3 minutes of the game showed how a championship team plays (and how a middle of the pack team plays.)
GO BLUE!

Pay Juwan now!!! That win is so impressive it’s unbelievable! This team is mentally tough!!!
February 14th, 2021 at 3:29 PM ^
If there's one coach who doesn't need the money, it's Juwan. Dude made $100M playing ball.
But by all means, let's do whatever we can to keep him happy and on campus. He's a gem.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:07 PM ^
By far the most exciting game of the season! Hell Yeah!
February 14th, 2021 at 3:15 PM ^
Yes. Good to know that we can play well in a tight game or when we are down by double digits.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:08 PM ^
Great, gritty win. Tons of heart. No quit. Love me some Coach Howard.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:08 PM ^
I would like to rewatch the entire game. Anyone have the link?
I missed a few critical sections.

That was an epic second half. Terrific effort by a very talented, deep Michigan team that plays with heart, composure and a lot of good chemistry. Really fun to watch this team earn that tough win on the road against a good Wisconsin team. They earned it too. Hunter could not buy a call until late. Everyone played hard on defense the second half. Beautiful conference road win.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:09 PM ^
What an exciting and fabulous win.
The first half: eh, layoffs suck.
The second half: heart and hustle!
February 14th, 2021 at 3:09 PM ^
Best win of the year. Would’ve been easy to just pack it in on the road the way the first half went.

Izzos looking at this and wondering why Michigan didn't lose by 30.

True.

Madison has been a hall of horrors for us, to get this win was YUGE!! Yes YUUUUGGE!!!

Big heart!

Howard and staff have made in game and second half adjustments all season. Andy Reid take note.

What a game by Michigan. outscored Wiscy by 20 in the second half.
We are so blessed to be able to watch this team - they play so hard, so well, every game. This team makes being a basketball fan so much fun.
GO BLUE

Just like hockey yesterday. Came out of halftime/the first intermission and looked good. Needed to get the legs going again
BTW Michigan volleyball will be on BTN at 5:30 eastern today.

Great graphic! Where'd you find it? Or make it?
February 14th, 2021 at 4:14 PM ^
At a tailgate one year someone was showing everyone that picture. I didn't make it.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:11 PM ^
That was very impressive. 23 days off, no problem.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:12 PM ^
The 2nd half defense was insane.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:17 PM ^
Defense: beautiful to watch.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:13 PM ^
LOOOOOVE ITTTTT! Go Blue!!! What a team!

Incredible. After a 22 day layoff and a sluggish first half, we outscored UW by 20 in the second half! This is the guttiest team I can ever remember. Go Blue!!!
February 14th, 2021 at 3:13 PM ^
What can you say?
I was expecting a lot of rust, and that's what we saw in the first half...so much so, I thought it'd be too much to overcome....
However, i underestimated this team and this coaching staff. Hardnosed defense, some great offensive rebounding chance really saved the game...the Offense still appeared a bit janky at points in the second; a lot of short armed shots and some wild shooting...
But after 23 days off, on the road, versus a top 25 opponent, that was a great, great win.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:13 PM ^
Friends, THAT was impressive.
Livers kept them in the game single-handedly in the first, and somehow they found their legs in the second.
Tremendous defense, determined offense. Dickenson owned the boards and Brooks was a terror.
Most impressive win of the season - this team continues to delight and impress.
Go Blue!!
February 14th, 2021 at 3:14 PM ^
one other thought: our legs held up for a hardcore hustle second half that won the game. i don't care how 'in shape' you are, being in game shape is a different animal and we held it together in a scrappy game.
and when we kept getting it to 3-5 points, then taking bad shots repeatedly or turning the ball over, that was worrisome. but we sucked it up and put it together.
really nice win.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:18 PM ^
Great point - usually the better-conditioned team pulls away in winning time. Somehow, miraculously, that was us!
February 14th, 2021 at 3:41 PM ^
I’ve argued that a lot of S&C coaches seem to be interchangeable... but Jon Sanderson might be a cut above the rest.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:15 PM ^
It was a fantastic win all around. Room for growth but this team has guts. That Hunter rebound and Livers 3 was beautiful.
February 14th, 2021 at 3:15 PM ^
That is one of the most impressive Michigan wins I’ve ever seen. After all that time off, down 14, battling terrible Michigan-hating refs. Yet, they pulled out the dub!
