JOSH GATTIS!!!!!!!!!! What a masterclass in play calling! Cade McNamara providing steady veteran play (even though he's not a veteran). All the skill players that stepped up. And how about our offensive line?!

Oline gameball?!  Maybe that's happy post-game overkill but man, they owned this game.  Lotta good to go around from this team today but that OLine gets my gameball.  Hassan is a fucking legend to boot.

That demoralized defense at the end was beautiful.

One mistake, that's all they made, one mistake. They executed perfectly and they kept on coming and negated whatever Ohio State did on offense. HH, what more can be said! What a fucking season, what a fucking game!

Cade was right, he's said it several times... this team is different!

*shrug* yeah some of us can recognize what just happened to us. It happened. I hate you guys and can recognize we just got rolled over. Kudos to the team up north you fuckers! The real ones in your fan base can appreciate what I just said! Enjoy the win tonight and this year! We will see you next year!!!

No he isn’t. Go down two more comments and that is the correction to your post. Haskins is a fucking god. And please allow me to gloat.. I said TWO years ago that he is your best RB and today it showed. Dude will get five yards and then fall forward for a couple more and that sets you guys up for so much more. Do I want him over our RBs? Nah I like ours. But Haskins is PERFECT for your system. Good for you guys. I’m gonna go make myself another drink.

If I were you, I MIGHT trade Haskins for Walker since he is so good after contact, but that is it. They both thrive between the tackles and get yards after contact. That would be the only reason though. Haskins is a Dawg. Henderson is a freshman and is more of a speed/home run hitter. Those other two fit your system so much more well.

McNamara’s ceiling is beating OSU which now requires a lot of the people reading this blog to significantly reconsider your comments. Come out and take the L, cause he beat OSU.

I don’t reconsider my comments at all. McNamara made some nice throws but also threw a terrible interception that fortunately wasn’t as costly as it could have been, thanks to the great play of the running backs, O-line and defense. He threw for 159 yards, total. It was a great team win and he came along for the ride. McCarthy will end up as a much better QB, whether at Michigan (hopefully) or somewhere else, and he once again showed that today in his few opportunities. They also would’ve won this game if McCarthy had been the starter.

I was definitely wrong in believing they couldn’t beat OSU because of McNamara’s limitations, but I’m not sure many saw them running for 300 yards and shutting down the big plays on defense, which is why they won the game. I’ve never said McNamara was bad, only that McCarthy will be better and because they very likely have to choose one and lose one, they should choose McCarthy. And I think the “McNamara never makes mistakes” argument is starting fade. He has only thrown three INTs, but they all came at important moments: yesterday, in a close game at Nebraska, and on the final drive against MSU, when they still had time to pull it out. And the biggest reason the last one happened is because he didn’t have the arm to get it there quickly enough.

Everyone should recognize/ acknowledge the dilemma here-for the coaching staff...because both of these young men are very talented. For me, the two look a bit like a Montana vs Mahomes choice.  So the decision here is a personal preference one...and anyone arguing about this should chalk many things up to the splitting of hairs they are doing in this regard. I like both of them a lot. As a fan, for the entertainment value, I would play "Mahomes"-plus there is that "ceiling". I am sure that Jim Harbaugh and his staff are fully aware of the extent of the ramifications in play here. National Championships have been won, and possibly lost, by the best coaches in this business, Saban, Meyer and Swinney, on this exact type of decision over the past several years. Hello Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow-to name two out of the three. If Riley ends up at LSU and McCarthy is asked to remain the back-up...look out. Just sayin'.

He did everything that was asked of him and more.  There were really just two bad throws all day.  There was the pick, and then this is nitpicking but he had one throw to the flat that took Haskins off his feet and resulted in no gain.  Not a huge deal as the defender was out there but hitting him in stride at least allows Haskins to fall forward (difference between 3rd and 4 and 3rd and 7).

Other than that though...we needed him to hit deep balls against one on one coverage outside.  Check (in fact, Andrel dropped a very catchable ball on a free play that Cade threw perfectly, so yardage could be even higher).  Got rid of the ball.  No sacks against a good pass rush (yes O-Line deserves credit but Cade's clock was perfect too, even against the blitz).

Michigan dominated this game in the trenches but make no mistake, all year we had said we would need to hit deep shots to have a chance against OSU.  Many people said Cade would be incapable.  He proved them wrong with an exclamation yesterday.
