Why was he ejected?

He led with the crown of his helmet to the chest of the QB while throwing the ball away.

I saw the replay and this one looks like a good call, but I agree that most of these calls are too close to eject someone over and should just be 15 yarders.

There needs to be separate levels of targeting like the NBA does with flagarant fouls.
Targeting 1 (w/o intent to injure) - 15 yard penalty
Targeting 2 (w/ intent to injure) - 15 yard penalty + ejection

I'll start off with the filth sucking and I'm not a fan of Bosa but he is damn good. He shouldn't be out of the game. He could've killed the ND qb by just pushing him on his ass real hard if he wanted to. He just kind of popped the qb in the chest with his helmet. You cant kick a guy out of the game for that. If he would've did it helmet to helmet, well then the kids see that and want to mimmick it but this is football. Stupid refs and rules!

OSU's D-Line is down 3 starters now with Washington, Schutt, and Bosa all gone. They're down to using their 3rd-string DT in Michael Hill, and it is showing in ND's run game.

Notre Dame forget to show up?
January 1st, 2016 at 2:47 PM ^
Wait no Northwestern forgot to show up.
January 1st, 2016 at 2:51 PM ^
There is only one game on now. Anything else is just... whatever. Not worth watching.
3 cheers for old Notre Dame though. At least there is a chance they do something when a player gets arrested.

This is the same kind of hit that injured Rudock's left arm. Crown of helmet to body.

Because of the suspended license? Zeke's license was suspended because of an overdue speeding ticket for going 59 mph in a 55 mph speed zone... Not exactly a felony.
IIRC, Zeke said they sent the notice to his family house, and he wasn't aware that his license was suspended.

Zeke was not driving drunk, or drinking underage... It was literally him hydroplaning on an extremely rainy day in Columbus, crashing his car and almost getting seriously injured. Then the cop scanned his license and realized it was a suspend for a speeding ticket that was due on December 1st.
It would be overly cruel to suspend a player for having a near death experience, no?

i.e. their jerseys look purple and their uniforms aren't Adidas anymore.
So much to the ridiculous stuff earlier in the season where people claimed it was Adidas' fault that our jerseys looked purple in some light conditions,
