"That said, however, no, the shoes will not be available for public sale."

Really disppointed that we have still yet to get any public sale retro Jordan's since the contract started.  V's are one of my favorite Jordan sneakers, so it's doubly painful to see these and the ones they gave the pope last week and know I'll never be able to buy them.

Thank you for this.  I just couldn't bring myself to start this thread.  (Shocking, I know.)

You see, I'm not going to buy a pair of these shoes until Chris Webber apologizes.  To me.  Personally.

Seriously, this is too much. I know WD deserves some ribbing sometimes, but this is taking it way too far. The guy loves Michigan and now he feels like he can't participate in his here because he gets endless shit for it. That is fucked up. The impersonator and everyone that keeps upvoting him and encouraging this behavior should be ashamed of themselves. You are all bullies and it doesn’t belong here. I am also shocked that the mods haven’t put an end to this.

The answer you seek is below.

I said yesterday that I am fully aware of my ridiculous fixation.

ri·dic·u·lous
rəˈdikyələs/
adjective
  1. deserving or inviting derision or mockery; absurd.
"when you realize how ridiculous these scenarios are, you will have to laugh"

I am what I am.  I don't care what people think about me.  I'm too old to change (but I'm young enough to use that as an excuse whenever plausible).

I like WD and appreciate what he brings to the board.  If I don't want to look at a Nike apparel thread, I don't click on it.  WD reminds me of how I was as an undergrad and into grad school.  I was totally obsessed with Michigan and my identity was tied to it.  I got married, had a kid, and then I realized that the level of involvement I had was no longer fun. It certainly helped my transformation that my daughter was born in the fall of 2008.  If we had Harbaugh at that time, I'm sure I'd still be just as crazy.

I don't like seeing anybody get made fun of to this level.  Especially for something that's supposed to be fun.

Getting married is simply not a priority for me. I cannot risk having it end in divorce, with a woman taking half of my heart and half of my Nike collection.

People on here are wayyyyyy too picky and bitchy about threads. Like you said it seems many here dont understand the concept of not clicking a thread if it doesnt interest them.

Honestly not sure if I've ever seen a forum where the users bitch as much as they do on here if someone posts something they dont like

You created an account for the sole purpose of trolling WD. You are infinitely lower on the totem pole than he is. He loves Michigan sports ( a lot). Nothing wrong with that.

I am WDD.

I am the left brain personality that has a sense of humor and self awareness. I am cognizant of absurdity that was a thread disliked at a 2:1 ratio and enjoyed the discrepancy of a spiritually mirror post that was liked at a 3:1 clip.

I am passionate about Michigan and its sports and am working hard to not be sanctimonious, self indulgent, narcissistic, or coddled because of that's passion. I fear that I am not long for this world, and my arrogant alter ego will return from hiding and unironically post ugly clothing again.

I am a big boy and am not a sacred cow and am not the engine powering this blog or its mascot.

I am WDD.

Nope.  You're a dipshit who has probably spent way too much time on Reddit.  You are also bad at English.  I don't read the apparel threads by WD and am indifferent to most of his posts.  I like the historical posts he's been doing lately and appreciate those.  I'm not quite sure what you contribute here "left brain" besides yuck-yuck humor that will fade with time and some poorly written anecdotes.  Carry on.
