Nick Sheridan should be on the staff next year

Looks like the Harbaugh clown show will continue into 2021; a good support staff might make him look respectable next year.

The halftime adjustments by IU from OSU to now this game have been great. Backup QB looks ready to go and would start over any QB on M’s roster. IU is lucky to have him.

Hopefully he doesn’t resent UM from his playing days.

Our AD’s have had poor judgement with hiring coaches in football. Our HC’s have poor judgements with hiring assistants.  When an ex-UM player coaching staff is cutting it up, makes ya wonder why UofM does not look at all options for assistants.  Do EX-players only work good as coaches when NOT at UofM?

Stop with this. Indiana is ranked 118 out of 126 teams in rushing this year. They averaged 2.8 YPC in their game today. They rushed for basically 0 yards against OSU. Their running game is NOT GOOD. As in almost worst in the country. They had a long today of 11 yards. Mike Hart is not an elite running back coach. If he was someone else would have hired him and his portion of the offense wouldn’t be ranked almost last in the entire country. I loved Mike Hart as a player. He is an OK running backs coach. So is Jay. Hart literally does not move the needle. In fact, he very well could be worse.

Even if Jaybaugh and Hart are equals as RB coaches, Jaybaugh runs circles around him as a recruiter.  And it's not even close...  Aside from that, Jay has proven himself as a TE coach, and as a special teams coach.

The people pining for Hart over Jay have nothing other than a lame 'nepotism' argument from 6 years ago.

Do I just have poorly tinted Michigan glasses?  Or does it seem like when Michigan has had to go the backup recently (I know Cade played well in spurts) they seem so ill-prepared?

Not going to start a thread cause I dont want the shit that will go with it but the Twitters right now are burning up with a Chris Ballas report that Harbaugh has signed a 3 year extension and it will be announced next week.

So CC threads can take a break for a while it seems.

Unfortunately, I would have been on board with a lifetime contract for Harbaugh if that's what it took to get him here back when we hired him. In my mind, I made a deal with the universe or God or the Devil or whatever -- and now I have to deal with the consequences. I also made a deal with the same unknown entity during game 7 of the Cubs World Series. This is all on me boys. Michigan blows, Harbaugh blows, the Cubs blow, Theo left Chicago, our Cubs TV broadcaster of 16 years left to do White Sox radio, my Chicago Bears suck, all my quarterbacks suck, my fantasy football team sucks, coronavirus is probably on me, and so on. Michigan basketball is my last glimmer of hope, so expect Juwan to the NBA news shortly.

I'm sorry but I just don't see how he leaves Indiana for a lateral position.  Same with Hart, Allen, Fleck, etc.  They are in good situations, at a B1G school in the West division, and it's not a good look to abandon your team unless it's an obvious promotion that makes sense.  Not everyone is exclusively money driven. Add to that the dumpster fire that Michigan appears to be right now.

Maybe alums do want to return someday, but it will be when it's "right" either when their run ends where they currently are, or if it's a promotion.  You can always make an offer, but can't the other school block the request for interview with assistants unless it's for a promotion?

The only way this gets better is if Harbaugh is gone. If you have made this many coaching staff changes in 6 years, it ain't going to be any different with more tweaks to it. The poor clock management will still be there. The coaching brain farts will still be there.

Not gonna happen.

JH will back with a 3 yr gig.

Maybe a coordinator change, but nobody is leaving their present teams that have better program trajectories.

At least 4 BIG programs looking better coached at this point.
