New Michigan Stadium Aerial Photo Gallery
MGoBlue.com has posted a new photo gallery of Michigan Stadium aerial photos.
The gallery shows the completed premium seating that is in the place of the old press box. It also shows a nearly completed tunnel entrance refacing and what appears to be the final phase of the exterior work of the west side structure.
Now just envision a tier of seats in the end zones above the bowl flanking the new, megatron scoreboards.

In that first picture...the scoreboards DO look a bit small. Never really paid too much attention to it before.

Just to clarify the chair back seats are not in yet where the old press box used to be. All that is there is the decking. They are putting in the chairbacks after Obama speaks on Saturday.
But it is so close to done. I can't wait for September 4th!!!

...jcgary. I questioned my first impression when I took another look. I'm guessing (and hoping) that the barriers are therefore temporary and won't be in place post-chairback installation.

I was eager to see what the tunnel entrance was going to look like. The Stadium is really coming together!

could be very cool, but I really think the Big House deserves Omega Supreme scoreboards.

...Maize n Brew Dave his due, they could be CLOVERFIELDTRON scoreboards. Although that concept wouldn't leave space for an extra seating tier.
