Very plausible. Besides the bone bruise mentioned above, it presented as a meniscus tear potentially. Both could be categorized as painful nagging injuries that wouldn't be made worse.

Fuck it. I'm going to start…

Fuck it. I'm going to start drinking.

I am going to say we look like the better offense tomorrow. I remember John O'Korn just not being good enough but damn the plays called that day were truly a thing of beauty. Also soo much of the pain is the 6 yards routes turning into insane touchdowns.

 That won't happen.

Michigan wins an instant classic 30-28

I can watch the recording if I'm right and otherwise forget everything happened.

The Rose bowl in 98 was the first time I really watched Michigan play. It was the start of the obsession, but being just a wee lad really had no context.

So my answer will probably strange one, as this blog was starting to really feed the obsession starting in 2004, to me the biggest win I can remember:

2005 PSU. The whole game was a gut wrenching battle that seemed like the program was on the edge of the abyss.

I loved The Denard years and UTL was crazy but none of those games got me the same way.

By the time the refs called the OOB penalty against Iowa in 2016 I could feel the screw was going to be in against OSU, too much money on the line for the conference. I still love Michigan and obsess over the games. This is the first time I estimate Michigan even money to payoff the conference.

So yeah #1, not close.

Secondary, probably gets probed more than any other game. TE looks like a beast that will need to be contained.

Having performed this exercise many many places I can tell you it is barely above a waste of time if there is anyone with actual  knowledge of the local.

Thanks for the tip.

Canada's Olympic Committee…

Canada's Olympic Committee actually specifically stated the won't send them this summer on the call to the IOC. I was on the conference call between all the NSOs before hand.

It's a bit of posturing to get all the athletes clarity.

There are 2 main concerns in the rescheduling that need to be worked out and why the IOC is trying to stall for 1 announcement.

1. The athletes village has been sold off to be turned into housing.

2. The timing of every Major sports league and the Euro is NOT going to be typical making the TV window unclear.

The other concern is how to qualify countries in sports that have partially been qualified etc. And whether a 2 year delay should re open these places.

IOC JOC are selfishly trying to wait for clarity about what the best move is at the expense of athletes mental physical health.

I hope this helps shed some light on this, the Games are likely to be pushed into September next year.

I dont know if that 3 ball is real or not, but I've always been surprised how little attention he gets. Are his arms too tiny or something? How come he never gets and mention as a potential NBA guy..

I'm definitely in the camp…

I'm definitely in the camp that believes we are the favoured side here. The Iowa loss in 2016 swung that dramatically against us, in this case, the Purdue L is an anchor around OSU's neck this time.

It's not a mandate from the BIG offices, its just and understanding of do whats best for the conference and you will continue to be rewarded.

I think the most egregious case of this was back in the 2009 Big XII title game. With Nebraska already declared as leaving the conference, and Texas in position to go the the BCS championship they simply couldn't move the ball on SUH led Nebraska, a few phantom penalties and an extra second at the end of the game allowed Texas to kick the game winning field goal. This got Texas into the BCS title game ensuring they got their shit packed in by Alabama.

I would just say follow the expected value in dollars if you want to guess what way the refs might be blowing.

It definitely gets harder…

It definitely gets harder each time. I can tell you, when you're laid up all day discouraging thoughts can start to creep into your mind. At a certain point you realize that you are taking the Percocets to block the thoughts not the pain...

My thoughts are with that dude, I hope he can make it back again.

In 2016 after the Iowa loss,…

In 2016 after the Iowa loss, it was much more likely the conference would fist Michigan because of the risk of losing the big 10 championship and no team going to the cfp. This year it is probably the same situation, psu winning would take this off the table, should Michigan run the table till the game.

This is obviously getting a little ahead of things but remember the most important thing to the big 10 is maximizing expected value. So outcomes that make Michigan as the greatest EV are what we want.

The greatest player in NFL history is Tom Brady.

Aaron Rodgers however, is the most talented QB of all time.

Claiming Rodgers to be Top 5 makes me think you are an irrational hater, its not even that close to #2. People that don't even watch football will tune into to see him play because he is so obviously on another level.

No armies suffer any…

No armies suffer any casualties.

So turn to turn there isn't  any real continuity for lasting effects. Perhaps 'stars' could be destroyed and take turns(or by territory owned) to regenerate to have attacks have lasting effect. While defending would suffer casualties only to the point they are attacked. That would create a game more likely to end. This iteration, its just attrition of interest that would lead to a genuine conclusion.

Still its been an interesting distraction while I study for the CFA... Because basically everything is.

Coaches can't be present for…

Coaches can't be present for drills. Given a coaches role in an athletes life I think it would be utterly cruel to prevent contact...

Hold  on now, let's say we…

Hold  on now, let's say we have 2 1000 yards rushers. No hold everything else constant, including baseline line expectations for Shea.

He probably wins the the Heisman. Just for a minute think about what it would mean.

Almost certainly an undefeated offensive juggernaut with an top 3 defence. There would be a tremendous amount of knob slobbering heaped around all over by the media, and baring a Cam or RG3 or Lamar video game season He's going to be credited with being the final piece of the puzzle. Beat OSU in the Shoe to end the season and he can strike the pose.

But.. I'm only going to be over here hoping how thats how this all plays out, I don't even dare begin to imagine it happening. So I'm willing to allow for everyone approaching with guarded optimism.

Next turn basically is the only correct way. Rudimentary game theory, changed by knowing the the final turn. Working backwards from the last turn each player will know that the want to break the deal first to gain an advantage hence, next turn.

This has an interesting…

This has an interesting effect on the game theory.

Essentially without an known end turn, collusion (allies) work better together. Variations of tit for tat etc.

Now that the end turn is published everyone should understand that only stable nash equilibrium is to cheat.

However I'm sure you'll have thought about this, like pretty much every other econ grad out there on any team.

CR7 and Messi era is possibly the greatest ever

Zidane could end up the most successful footballer of all time. I'm not sure there's the talent coming for a real French renaissance but if he brings France a world cup title as manager he will be up there with Napoleon.

There's 3 headbuts he is famous for..

He scored 2 headers in the World Cup final on home turf but I guess '98 might be too far back for the casuals.

Zizu is probably just tired of the Spanish press like every star on that team.

Big for the defense

I'm sure this team would have scored without him, at an equally efficient rate. Having him back is just huge for the locking down the danger wings.
Teske and Livers are both great for bigs, X on points and Charlie for the wings. How will teams score more than this squad?

Out sailing?

Definitely

O'Korn was suffering from PSTD no doubt. The other 2 fellas might have been in a similar mental state. My understanding is its hard to quarterback well when you're getting lit up frequently.
When you snap the ball and pull the Will Hagerup face every play... Probably not gonna go well

Shea is an upgrade

But if he can't make it more than a game into the B1G schedule it will be for the same reasons as last year...
'no blocking'

It didn't take a genius to see our qbs couldn't keep their eyes down field. Mind you having one coach for tackles and guards might help cover the B gap a bit better...

Take either side of 5.5y

And we can revisit this post before the site gets updated to see who won.

How do you stop them..?

There youth is way better.

The thing abou DeRozan is that he works on a peice of his game every year to get better. However him and lowry revert to hero ball in the clutch, and the record in right games was actually really bad. Coupled with Casey being a great defensive teacher but poor in game manager meant the project reached mature and was time to exit.
The team will still be very competitive but 1 of the all star backcourt needs to be converted to something else of value.
Thats up to the Mesiah, and Jay Wright.
