Yep, two of them: "Biff" and "Bennie".

They were at the Michigan Stadium dedication game in 1927.

Unfortunately, wolverines being wolverines, they pretty much tried to kill their trainer.  So they wound up in a zoo and that was the end of the live wolverine experiment.

This idea for this commercial is likely based on that well-known story.

Eddie George the only $eye I ever liked. Why?

As a senior, he ran for 1,927 yards and scored 24 touchdowns on the ground. The Buckeyes rolled into The Game undefeated but were denied a trip to the Rose Bowl and a shot at the national championship as Michigan won 31-23.

During George’s four years in Columbus, his teams went 1-2-1 against the Wolverines, which probably explains why he said in a recent interview that he was hit harder in those games against Michigan than he was during his NFL career.

Good of Eddie to play along.  I'm sure the Bucknuts are not fans of this video.

I kind of love how Tebow plays an insufferable do-gooder in these clips.  He's leaning into type.

I saw a wolverine standing in the middle of the road outside Denali National Park in Alaska at dusk.

He was unimpressed by my vehicle's presence.

He just looked right at me as if to say: "What the fuck do you want?"

I . . . moved on.

There is a lesson in there for Tony Pettiti.

Two hand touch? I used two hands!

that’s still the best, but this one is really well done also. And as others pointed out, good on Eddie for being a sport too

That's absolutely fantastic.

I have to admit that I'm a fan of Eddie George and appreciate that he put on the bandages for the bit.  (I probably wouldn't be an EG fan if OSU didn't get Biakabatuka'd.)

Great commercial. Reminds me of how Eddie would purposefully avoid running towards Ray Lewis in Titans vs Ravens games and even sliding down to avoid him multiple times. Soft! Seems to be a theme with osu.

Thanks much for posting.  Saw this last night on a pop-up ad but could not find a linkable version on Youtube.  Did find this equally entertaining one from 2015 that I never saw.   And similar credit to Eddie George and Troy Smith for going along with the bit:
