Not cool when both games are in a commercial break.
I hear Reggie Miller say "I believe the defender slid in there in time"
I see "Arizona defender's leg sliding in the lane as he gets in the way of the OSU player"
Massive throw down from hill
damn i really thought miami would handle marquette
I love me some college basketball in March! Ohio should be happy they're only down by 7, and Miami...wow. Maybe they thought they were playing on Friday?
must have a love/hate relationship with Craft
If Thomas goes cold Ohio is dead
Craft is not only offensively limited. He's a bad offensive decision maker. How do you not get Thomas a touch when he's guarded by a 6'2 guy and is on fire?
I wish refs could call a "play on" on shot clock violations if looked like a team was on a fast break.
Damn Craft wtf, 3 missed layups the last few minutes.
How does Thomas not touch the ball on that last possession? Atrocious. At least when Burke goes end of half iso he's our best player.
How is Thomas not a projected first round pick (at least according to that Chad Ford article that was posted earlier)?
AZ hits one or two fewer 3's and OSU hits a few more then they have the lead. I don't think AZ can play better, but OSU definitely can. If they play up to potential in the 2nd half they'll beat AZ by 10 or more.
Well seeing as Arizona is a really good 3 point shooting team and Ohio as really bad at defending the 3 the chances of that happening are extremely low.
B1G loyalty be damned. There's not a single bone in my body that wants to see Ohio win. Not a one.
If this were a blind date, I'd be walking out before dinner even starts. That's how much I don't want to even try.
that you're not "blinded" by your B1G loyalty?
I'm starting to want to see the other B1G teams win if only because the Big Ten is being so hyped that I will be unable to read sports articles for the next year because everyone will flip back again and they'll talk about how overrated the Big Ten is. It benefits us ever so slightly to have the conference perceived as Mega Awesome
OTOH, I could see MSU or OSU sad. So it's kind of win-win
would be fortunate if Marquette wins and then they beat the 'Cuse cause I feel like Miami's bigs would give them a harder time.
Right now it's looking damn good that could happen
MU can only choke this game away, no way Miami takes it from them.
No matter what happens, this game is full of win.
1. OSU wins and makes the BIG look good. Then we can potentially beat OSU for the NC.
2. AZ wins and OSU LOSES. Then we don't have to be concerned with playing a team that has proven they can beat us.
Either way, I'm happy.
The butt hurt would never end.
for Miami here

Miami (YTM)
Looks like the Notre Dame/ Wisconsin rejects are going to advance. What a brutal effort by Miami.
Either the kids are from wisco/chicago and didn't get in at UW, or they are catholic and didn't get in at ND. Real second rate crowd, sparty status.
ohio guy just grabs Zona guy, spins him around, ohio grabs ball....no foul.
I'm only watching because I thought Arizona would handle ohio
OSU is playing a lot better this half and the end of the first, but man, AZ is getting shots...and just missing them all
Would Reggie Johnson have helped Miami tonight, does anyone think? Or were they doomed from the start with a bad matchup in Marquette and/or a bad shooting night?
He would have helped, he is a big body who can rebound and score down low. But you are not going to win many games when you shoot 30% from the field and 19% from behind the arc. Johsnon wasn't going to do a whole lot for that.
If your lucky to reach 30% percent shooting, it doesn't matter.
a totally different game from the 1st half
OSU on a 10-0 run to start the half, Matta adjusts
And by adjusts, you mean, Arizona misses their wide open shots?
...but I thought he just shat himself because he'd misplaced his cooler.
My mistake.
