NCAA Time: Do we root for fellow B1G teams?

Do we root for our fellow Big Ten teams in the NCAAs? After a brutal conference schedule, with more than one heart-breaking loss, I don't know if I can bring myself to root for anybody in the Big Ten this year.
I hate Wisconsin more than ever, I'm sick of Sparty, I don't want to see Tom Crean win anything and rooting for Ohio is out of the question.
But, it would look bad for the conference if they don't go far. Should we root for the conference to look good?

Hate on the other teams all you want; I'll understand. What's good for the conference, though, is, at least to some degree, good for Michigan.
Imagine what would happen in football if all the teams suddenly sunk to Big East levels of competitiveness. Do you think that would help/hurt Michigan when bowl picks were made?
I root for B1G teams that don't offend me. Grew up in Chicago suburbs, so I grew up a U of I fan and will root for them. Minnie is a gopher, nice and cute.
But then my skin starts to crawl...
Tom Crean can rot in h-e-double-hockey sticks.
Izzo I like, but, his fan base is a few steps ahead of Tom Crean.
I think h-e-double-hockey-sticks is colored scarlet & gray.
And in that new tv miniseries "The Bible," I don't think Satan looks like Obama (no politics!), I think he looks like Bo Ryan.
Of course I'll be rooting for Big Ten teams. I'd like to show the country that yes, our conference is indeed the most difficult conference to play basketball in. I do have my qualms about each of them, though.
I do despise Crean and I think he's probably the most annoying coach in the conference, Wisconsin plays the flavor of basketball that turns your brain into mush while watching and also fuck Wisconsin, and Minnesota is the most frustratingly inconsistent team in the conference, I like Izzo but the Izzone is the most bro-ish (and I mean that in the most negative way possible) fanbase.
Not much to say about Ohio, just that the further they go the better we look as well.

Root for whoever you want to. I myself, will root for the Big 10. Here's my breakdown by region.
I want Wisconsin to make it to the Sweet Sixteen, beat Gonzaga, and lose to OSU in the Elite 8. (I just think we match up terribly against Wisconsin, and don't want to see them again.)
I want MSU to make it to the Sweet Sixteen, beat Duke, and lose to Louisville in the Elite 8. (I think the schadenfreude of not making it to the Final Four for MSU is great.)
I want Indiana to make it to the Final Four, and for Michigan to get a rematch. It is impossible for me to decide who I would want to win less: Indiana or Ohio. Nonetheless, I don't mind them getting there.
I want Michigan to beat three number one seeds:
- Kansas, to get to the Elite 8
- Louisville, to get to the Championship Game
- Indiana, to win the Championship
I'd love to see the Big 10 with 3 entries in the Final Four

The way the bracket is set up, you'd have to reverse the order of the Louisville and Indiana games. Michigan would play Indiana in the semifinal and Louisville in the final.
However, Michigan could theoretically play Ohio State in the final.

no way in hell will i root for msu, osu, indiana, or wisconson.
I will not root for Sparty or OSU in anything. I will also not root for Crean. It is painful to watch Wisconsin, so rooting for them is kind of a challenge, but otherwise okay.
i will not root for sparties, i don't like their couch-burning parties; i cannot pull for hoosiers because i think they're losers; i'm 0-fer the gophers and the bucks are f$*s; so between me and you i'll champion the maize and blue!
I usually just root for whoever I want to win with no thought required. I just start pulling for one team or the other. I wouldn't mind seeing four Big Ten teams in the Final Four, though, as long as none of them wear green and white.
