NDSU looking good. Duke isn't really all that great, in my opinion. I would have rather gotten MSU's region (assuming chalk). Zags got dudes and experience, which usually is the recipe for tourney success.

Obviously Zion is a human highlight reel, but this team's best performance was their first game and haven't really gotten close to that since.

I've watched them at full strength a good amount and it's never anything amazing. And VT beat them with Zion out, but VT was missing their best player too. So I could see them beating Duke

There's really only been 1 true "One and Done" team to win it all in recent history, and that was the 2015 Duke team that was much better offensively. 2012 Kentucky had quite a few veterans on their team

Krzyzewski is underperforming at this point in his career. One of the most talented teams in the tourney in the last 10-20 years and yet barely ahead of a 16 seed with very “supportive” officiating.

Tracy W should ask, “Coach, how many 5 stars do you need to outcoach the opposition?”

Watching these games makes me feel like sometimes refs feel like they need to blow their whistle because it’s been a couple possessions without one. We wouldn’t the game to get into any sort of flow. That wouldn’t be fun to watch.

Sadly, this has been an incredibly underwhelming MM so far.

You have years like this with an occasional upset, but everything else has been blah.

And then you have years where you do not know which channel to watch because everything is bananas.

Enjoying the games as always.  Two early observations: 1.) Realized that, just like CBS and ESPN, I’m rooting for a team that finished 3rd in a power conference, has won 29 games, and has lost three games to non rivals all season, and 2.) I’m confused about AT&T telling me “just OK is not OK” during the commercial break and then coming back out of said break to see “One of” the best high-flying plays of the game sponsored by AT&T

I keep channel surfing hoping to see some basketball and all I see are commercials, many studio analysts talking and tidbits of college basketball.

Even though Dawkins’ eligibility would have been exhausted by now here, but we really would benefit from a knockdown wing shooter coming off the bench. Last year we had two with D-Rob (who for intents and purposes played starter minutes) and Poole. This year we have Livers but on offense he’s playong the 5 a lot which leads to him not getting the amount of 3’s I’d like to see.

In all honesty Poole would be much better off the bench in a microwave role. If he was to come in and shoot spot up 3s, he would be much more effective

Steven B. Smythe came to izzies defense today.  Nothing to see here.  Carry on.  Spartans Will.  What makes certain assholes bulltproof?

B1G showed why they're the best conference in the country with a strong showing of 7-1 in the 1st round of NCAA Tournament. Minnesota, OSU and Iowa all pulled off an upset at 1st round where all are underdogs. B1G teams are battle tested after beating up on each other all year long and they're showing why they're all good teams.
