The unfortunate part is that Draymond does a lot of little things right on the court and brings good defense and he's their small-ball center.  He's not as important as he used to be but he's still pretty damn useful.  Also he averages 7 assists per game which is at or near the top of the team.  He's one of the best glue guys in the NBA... as long as you overlook his attitude.

If they can find someone to replace him, sayyyyy a recently drafted Patrick Baldwin... then yeah they can absolutely move on from him.  I'd be all for it, personally.

Since Herro got a dumb deal from Miami, it's really forced the Warriors to have to pick 2 from the Wiggins, Draymond, Poole group. From a logical standpoint, you have to take Wiggins and Poole. From the emotional side, Draymond helped build what the warriors are today. But the latest incident with him makes the decision a lot easier. There are arguments for all 3, but Poole and Wiggins are the future of that team.

I'm not a Draymond fan but the Warriors need him. Unfortunately this event really messes things up but their team isn't a very physically tough team.they need him to kind of bring that physica mentality and also an enforcer like in hockey. In all honesty, a team of Curry, Wiggins, Thompson, and Poole would get bullied in the playoffs without Draymond.

I guess a good example is do you want Pat Beverly jawing at Steph and getting in his face all game without reprocusion? Draymond would take up that jawing match with him letting Steph be Steph

Wow, that was smooth. He needs to work on his head movement and slipping punches, but his footwork is solid.

(Before anyone freaks out, I’m kidding)

When I read this title I thought it was going to be about Poole banging Draymonds sister or wife or something. Real nice move though..

I hope he continues to play well all season and then winds up signing somewhere else than GSW based on how a decent chunk of the team's administration (not the players) tried to undersell Green's cheapshot.

LOL!!!  Travelling?  LMAO!!!  I mean, even if travelling had actually been called in the NBA in the last 10-20 years, that wasn't travelling.  You could argue it was a carry (that change 'o direction was clearly carrying the ball), but that's another thing that basketball doesn't call.

Those two things have to be more egregious than a Draymond dick punch to get a call in the NBA...

I thought he made a mistake leaving one year too early, but am glad for his success - never forget that miracle shot in NCAA vs. Houston!

I think the resolution to this mess (way to lead by example, Draymon) will revolve around team chemistry. From a distance, it like Green has worn out his welcome.

He’s gonna be the 6MOTY this year, and then get traded/sign and traded to his own team - somewhat similar to Harden going from OKC to Houston.

No clue where he ends up, but my best guess would be Toronto (for Siakam who can replace Draymond or play alongside him), Washington (for Beal…or Porzingis + picks and players), or maybe Utah (for a boatload of picks).

However, the Warriors have shown they don’t mind going into truly ungodly luxury tax penalties, so I could see them doing some creative accounting to keep him on the team. Their ownership is in win-now mode for the next 3-4 years until Curry/Thompson/Green become expendable, and are set up with a second unit that is all starting caliber players (Poole, Moody, Kuminga, Wiseman etc). This team is unfortunately built to win for the next decade potentially.
