We can change the school name to West Virginia University at Ann Arbor.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:09 PM ^
Hell with that, they need to become UM-Morgantown.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:08 PM ^
Your title really sold me on this idea
January 8th, 2011 at 7:09 PM ^
Reverse psychology.

Cool story bro.

Plan Z
January 8th, 2011 at 7:14 PM ^
I thought Lou Holtz was Plan Z?
January 8th, 2011 at 7:15 PM ^
He's "Plan Eth"
January 8th, 2011 at 7:13 PM ^
I thought about it, then I also thought "hey, let's just call RR back up and say... HAHA, I was just kidding around man. Thought you needed a vacation. See you tomorrow?"
January 8th, 2011 at 8:39 PM ^
Where in God's name is that from? I'm going to bookmark this page so that whenever I'm feeling down or want to punch something, I can bring this up.

Wonder Showzen
January 8th, 2011 at 7:16 PM ^
That's a rather clever solution nonetheless.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:19 PM ^
Casteel might deserve more credit for the success of RR at WVU than he currently receives.
In a less serious note, we would no longer ever need a coaching search committee. We could just poach WVU whenever a new coach is needed for any of our sports.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:20 PM ^
Fuck it, let's go Blues Brothers style. Moeller as HC, Herrmann/English as 2-headed DC, Malone/DeBord as 2-headed OC.
BOOM IDIOTIC'D
January 8th, 2011 at 7:29 PM ^
Why haven't we talked to Ron English yet?
January 8th, 2011 at 7:46 PM ^
Because up until October of last year, he hadn't won a single game as HC.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:57 PM ^
I am just going to go ahead and assume that you are being sarcastic, please do NOT correct me if I am wrong.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:20 PM ^
ooooh look everyone! Insane theories about why/how/when RichRod will be fired have now evolved into insane theories about who/why/how our next coach will be.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:28 PM ^
...you were going to suggest John L. Smith.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:28 PM ^
Like this picture, I like half of your idea, namely the part that brings Casteel and retains Magee.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:43 PM ^
Hell Yes.
.
.
even if she made that face the whole time.
January 8th, 2011 at 10:12 PM ^
Paper bag the bottom half, then you just get to see the good part!
January 8th, 2011 at 7:31 PM ^
I watched the Globetrotters play today on ESPN. We should go after their coach. Different sport but that dude doesn't lose.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:32 PM ^
was that the Tuesday/Wednesday meetings were DB giving RR the night to think over the following:
Demotion to OC with Hoke coming in as HC and to turn around the Defense.
This keeps Denard and the offensive commits, and DB being a business man realizes that delegating authority to several top people works better than one man being responsible for everything.
It seemed like a good idear at the time.
January 8th, 2011 at 8:01 PM ^
"It seemed like a good idear at the time."
Were you on peyote?
January 8th, 2011 at 7:52 PM ^
Mainly that Casteel has made it well known that he has A) no desire to ever be a head coach and B) no desire to move from West Virginia. Other than that, GREAT IDEA!
January 8th, 2011 at 8:26 PM ^
I'll believe it when I read it from a reputable source. I've read for a long time that Casteel has been waiting on a head coaching gig. I don't think that it's well-known at all, if this is the case.
January 8th, 2011 at 9:02 PM ^
maybe we can get Coach Stew.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:58 PM ^
You're right. That is stupid.
January 8th, 2011 at 7:58 PM ^
or however you spell his name. SEC experience, spread knowledge, utilizes a QB well and might be able to pull a strong DC out of the south.
January 8th, 2011 at 8:15 PM ^
I like the idea.
January 8th, 2011 at 9:32 PM ^
Right,.. because Michigan puts up so many points against Moo U., tUoOS, State Penn, Wisconsin, and Miss State. Let's keep Magee, keep recruting 5' 9", 165# players, and putting up 500+ yards of offense against the MAC and 1-AA. This isn't a stupid suggestion at all... it makes absolutely perfect sense.
