Dantonio is used to Michigan weeds, which while impressive, are nowhere as big, fast, and talented as weeds in SEC country. So it is likely the weeds he was laying in hurt is ability to make judgements and even know really where he was. This is why Dantonio prefers to focus on lying in weeds in other parts of the galaxy.
Later stage symptoms may not appear until weeks, months or years after a tick bite and can include memory loss, difficulty concentrating, and changes in mood and sleeping habits.
Stay out of the weeds Coach, it's not safe in there!
They were there to recruit other kids and to ask why Mason Cole picked Michigan.
Are they trying to pick up recruiting tips from Michigan without straight-up asking our coaching staff? Or are they merely unjustifiably butthurt about Cole's selection?
Wait... they were there to recruit George Campbell and didn't know who he was? Or they were there for someone else and didn't know who he was? Either way... I mean... man. I'm the one who always bitches about us trolling our rivals, but this. Is just... wow.
The whole time? Did they ask him over and over, or was it one really long question?
they're not actually talking to the kids, except in passing. They're talking to the coaches and school administrators.
I'm imagining them following Cole around for half an hour going "Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?..."
They're recruiting intergalactically now. If Campbell was in a spacesuit during their visit, THEN they would have recognized him.
Agreed about that Joke being overplayed, but that was pretty damn funny!
Still seems weird you wouldn't know about a recruit that talented but it's not like they suddenly forgot why they were there. They wanted to see if Cole was solid or if there was still a chance.
I feel stupid too. I don't know who Steve Lorenz or George Campbell is either.
And who exactly is "Sparty"? Do they have a recruiting coordinator with that name?
There's no reason for you to feel stupid. You're not the head football coach of a Div 1A program, so knowing the name of every solid football prospect out there isn't in your job description. Dantonio on the other hand.....wtf?
We keep Ace around so that we don't have to know the name of every football recruit out there.
Sparty, NOOOOOO!!!!!
Guess they weren't there for Campbell specifically, but how do you not know who one of the top WRs for 2015 is. Big time screw up on their part.
Michigan State came to East Lake and didn't know who you were.... — Yeah that's absolutely true http://ask.fm/a/4pfhpjn3
Who is this GSORGS CDMPBSLL fellow?
That's Greek for 5* receiver stud! East Lake is just east of Tarpon Springs, which has a huge Greek population (large in numbers, not literally huge Greeks!). I'm sure he's just seen the letters on signs and whatnot.
posted that they told campbell they were full at wr after not knowing who he was which amused him and the only interest they had in scott is at db
So the MSU recruiting strategy is to travel hundreds of miles from East Lansing to tell highly rated kids, in person, that they suck and aren't wanted? I'm no expert, but Mark, this might not be optimal.
Perhaps he should sit up from the weeds. They're getting a little to long for him to continue laying in them.
I think that was elementary school my friend.
Given their current WRs, it's hard to imagine that Scott would be a DB for them.
Didn't they just have a WR recruit decommit 4 Lyfe?
Is it simply possible that MSU is tired of losing recruiting battles to us at this point? No, Hand! You do not have an offer!
From his picture on 24/7 think they'd be obsessed with him. Laying in the weeds I guess.
Trust me. He told me the other day.
This doesn't make sense. Campbell already has an MSU offer IIRC. They really didn't recognize him?
It is a non-commitable offer. They only offered him to get into Scott's good graces. As we know from RCMB, Sparty is stacked at WR, so why would they need Campbell?

If you look at Campbell's Rivals page, it lists offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Boston College, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi State, NC State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and a few others still, but conspicuously absent from this list is Michigan State.
However, it is interesting to note that I arrived at that page through this like - (HERE) - which reports that Campbell did receive an offer from MSU a few weeks ago (also, the piece is from late May). 247Sports - also linked in that article - reports an offer but the typical "cool" for interest as a result. Clearly, transmitting offers via subspace from the edge of known space creates problems with getting timely updates everywhere.
Man you really need a new MgoIdentity. You get the trolling label on an insightfull comment.
fyi, posts can be edited until they are replied to
What ironic advice. Thanks.
