1 week 5 days ago	There are services that maintain recruiting databases	far more extensive than Scout or Rivals and that charge a lot more than $9.99 a month.  Most schools use one or more of them.
2 weeks 1 day ago	This isn't that complicated	If you start Labor Day weekend, there are usually 13 weekends between then and the 3rd Saturday in November, so there was always 1 bye week. A few years ago the B10 decided to move its last game of the regular season back a week, so that added a second bye week to the schedule. No conspiracies or anything like that. Just trying to keep the B10 from dropping out of view in late November.

2 weeks 4 days ago	BTN is now owned	51 percent by Fox.  They exercised a provision in their contract a couple years back that gave them the majority interest. I think it safe to assume that Fox will be a major player for the B10 in a couple years when the ESPN/ABC agreements expire.

4 weeks 6 days ago	You're probably out of luck for this year	Unless you've already been a big donor.  It's all a matter of priority points, based upon giving to the athletic department and to the university. Priority points for the 2013 football season were determined as of Feb. 1, 2013. You can always call the Victors Club to see what can be done but that's generally how it works.

19 weeks 4 days ago	A couple facts:	1.  The adidas contract gives Michigan the right to refuse any proposed uniform design. 2.  Nike refused to agree to such a provision during the 2007 negotiations.
19 weeks 6 days ago	Win percentage should exclude ties	A tie isn't a win. Win percentage is the % of games you won vs. all games you played. ND had more ties and fewer games so if you exclude ties from the calculation the spread is bigger than you say.
21 weeks 3 days ago	So you guys seriously think	that the two captains and a 5th-year senior are so intimidated of retribution that they were forced to say nice things about the uniformz? Shows a LOT of loathing (not just dislike) of David Brandon (and indirectly the coaching staff that would allow the AD to put that kind of weight on their players) and some real disdain for the players themselves for not having the guts to say what they thought.
21 weeks 4 days ago	Martin didn't take a salary	in 2000 and 2001 when the Athletic Department was operating in the red and needed an infusion from the General Fund.  Martin did that to keep sports from being eliminated.  It greatly helped convince the Regents to agree to bail out the department.  Once the department was back in the black (2003 I think), Martin took a salary of roughly $300,000. Martin also was the one who implemented the PSD program back in 2005 and he raised football ticket prices more than once.

By the way, the people who said they love them are two outgoing seniors (Robinson and Kovacs) who don't really have to worry about pleasing Brandon any more.

21 weeks 5 days ago	Epubs	can be read just fine in the Ipad using the Apple Ibooks app, and there are some free apps that also read epub files. There are also apps that will play some video formats not natively supported by the Ipad.  To my knowledge, though, it doesn't play Flash videos. That said, if you know Android and don't want to learn another OS that's probably the best reason to stay with Android.  It's a big reason why I've stayed with IOS.
