I say we have to earn it on October 9. In reality, they rule this series right now. Today is what matters.
I love picking on them as much as anyone on here, but I am hoping folks on here might consider joining me and refraining from vitriol or even backhanded compliments until we earn it on the field. I am making that pledge.
A lot of you will continue to rub away and that is your right. I won't question it. But I do think that part of being a program that is going places bigger than we used to be is behaving that way as fans. The Rich overhaul that we are experiencing is about that desire to be able to line up with anyone in any spot on the map and win.
With all sincerity and with no sarcasm, MSU fan has his expectations, we have ours and trust me they are way different. The last 3 years have met their expectations. Even the 6 wins last year was ok. Because they beat Michigan.
We're looking bigger picture. I don't watch them even when U of M isn't on. They play a boring brand of football and their coach refuses to play to win games for whatever reason. I say let them enjoy it. Their team earned it on the field. Hard to over come that at this point. It sharpens us if they are good anyways.
Congratulations to them for making the game really really matter this year. They earned that.
Poster Bobcat99 said it on a thread this morning about our laughter at their Brass Spittoon guaranteed game. "Is this what we've become?"
It really got me thinking.
U Conn today, celebrate on Sunday. Notre Dame next.
Currently our air of superiority is overheated and smelly. Let's keep our eye on the ball the best we can. 10 plus win seasons, League title contention, Rose Bowls, BCS games, Top 5 finishes. Nothing else will do for Brandon, Rich, or the fan base.

Consecutive posts RE: MSU?? Is this really necessary with UConn in 2 days??
Sincerely,
