MSU 4* RB decommits

Tuck may be comin' but his recruits are leavin'.

Reescano joins three other four-star prospects — cornerback Jaylon Braxton from Texas, wide receiver Demitrius Bell from Tennessee and offensive lineman Clay Wedin from Florida — to decommit from the Spartans since July.

According to 247, Reescano committed to MSU in January '22 before ever visiting MSU. The glow on Sparty's 2021 season was still very bright when he committed, but since then things haven't gone so well. The two most recent visits are to programs that are doing much better currently—Okie St and Ole Miss—so I'd guess he commits to one of those two programs. OK St was the first program to offer him.

Apparently MSU coaches visited him on Oct. 21, and by Oct. 27 he decommitted.

Significant decommits. Not just one but three others means there are big flaws in that football program over there in E Lansing. Tuck will need to go heavy on the transfer portal once again. Kind of like playing the roulette wheel and the house always wins, not Tuck.

How is it a Michigan blog follows up to date recruiting with Michigan St. but nothing with their own recruits? Big recruiting weekend for UM, nothing. Missing out on Chris Peal, nothing. Nyckoles Harbor…you get the point.

That said, you love to see it and love to smell the tears down here from EL. Suck it, Tuck. This team deserves it.

Not sure of the negs, but whatever.

Tell Sam Webb and Co. it was just another hat on the table. Third highest rank CB in UGA’s class, and teammates are coming up. Regardless, the point here is being missed.

Yes, this is one of the biggest recruiting weekends for UM with Davis coming back up and hopefully signing with the good guys. Doubt it happens this weekend but hopefully we can get recruitment going. It bewilders me how UM hasn’t struck while the iron is hot and getting some momo with elite recruits.  Yes, Harbaugh flirted with the NFL and I won’t knock him for that. But how is PSU getting caliber players after the pummeling two weeks ago?

I agree - very little recruiting news on the site. Maybe because its been negative? Peal was a big loss, but I dont think we were ever in it. These 3 a big recruits for the OL this weekend, not sure we have a true shot at any but we need OL recruits.

I find it hilarious that  state talks about how great the recruiting is and are still ranked lower than our class.  Those fans are delusional.
