Morgan Trent Picked Up By Skins
He was released on waivers by the Jags (?) recently. Apparently the Redskins are showing some love.
Skins have been doing a lot of restructuring lately with the pick-ups of multiple young quarterbacks, etc. Hopefully they have a spot picked out for Trent.
This is an odd pickup by Daniel Snyder. I figured he'd throw $20 million at Rod Woodson or $35 million at "Night Train" Lane to shore up the defensive backfield.

for the abuse he gave Trent.
Not jail, Canada. Actually, wait. Yes, jail.
Dwayne Jarrett was arrested and charged for DUI on the morning of March 11, 2008 in a Charlotte suburb of Mint Hill. A police officer witnessed Jarrett run a red light and performed a sobriety test, which Jarrett failed. He was released on $1,000 bond. Jarrett later pleaded guilty to his DUI charge. Jarrett got a 30-day suspended sentence, must pay $420 in fines, and perform 24 hours of community service and could be suspended by the league.
On Tuesday, October 5, 2010, he was arrested for his second DUI in less than three years, after being pulled over shortly after 2 a.m. in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dwayne Jarrett was cut from the Panthers on October 5, 2010 following his second DUI arrest.
During the week of November 21, 2010, Jarrett worked out with the Seattle Seahawks and his former college coach, Pete Carroll but not signed.
Well when he quits on his team now nobody will know.
while a guy like Donovan Warren never played in the league.
Trent probably has better physical tools in terms of size/speed than Warren. Donovan has also had to deal with a string of injuries since the end of his Michigan career (ankle hurt him at the Combine, concussion limited his time in his first training camp).
That being said, Trent got released during the middle of last season and has since been dropped by two more NFL teams. He also wasn't on a team with Revis and Cromartie in front of him on the depth chart. At this point their careers are in pretty similar spots.
Trent played for Cincinnati for a little bit, and they had some pretty good starting corners. Not Revis-like, but pretty good.
Were not the best corners, but they were arguably the best starting duo in the league for 1-2 seasons. Then Mike Brown decided that re-signing Joseph was just impossible while possessing the largest salary cap in the league...
