formatting blows my mind. Cant wait to watch two sucky teams duke it out with bowl eligibility on the line. I am actually excited.

it wrapped around on me.

Thats what she said

Since they seem incapble of running the ball, does Mattison leave the safties back in pass coverage vs. coming up in the box for run support?
November 11th, 2014 at 11:48 AM ^
I have watched their QB quite a bit over the past two years, live and on TV. He is their biggest threat to run. He had a very good game against Iowa. If we contain him we will beat them. Stefon Diggs is also out. That hurts their passing game and special teams a bit too.

That's probably useful info but the formatting is giving me a headache. Maybe a mod can drop in to clean it up?

Should be another close game. I don't really know how to read it. I guess I would hope for something in their OSU game this week that causes them to not show up/be ready in our game.
November 11th, 2014 at 10:01 PM ^
I'm picturing a cartoon of Maryland players showing up after playing OSU with bandages, splints, casts, crutches, missing teeth, black eyes...

run the ball down their throats, wear down the defense over the course of the game. Fewer passes=fewer opportunities for interceptions.
November 11th, 2014 at 1:36 PM ^
It's sad that our passing offense is thought of as opportunities for interceptions. But I'll have to agree with you. Here's to hoping Deveon and DJ have a day

I don't get it.

After trying to read the OP, I suddenly lost the ability to read in general.

bowl eligible.
BTW, Edsal is a much better coach than Hoke so that may give Maryland the edge.
November 11th, 2014 at 12:19 PM ^
We'll have 114,000 screaming fans in the stands in AA, so that gives us the edge.

Much better and much appreciated!

They look worse than I expected. This is definitely a winnable game.

Could you please respond to my e-mails? A simple request is all I have...

Which account did you e-mail? Try Scotland45[at]aol[dot]com as I usually get notifications / blog business forwarded to that account.

Do they still have an advantage on special teams with Stefon Diggs out?
November 11th, 2014 at 12:54 PM ^
Diggs didn't return punts, however he was the key to their KR game. He will be replaced by William Likely (DB).
November 11th, 2014 at 12:43 PM ^
How is Maryland that bad at passing O? I thought they had one of the most talented WR corp in the conference. Is Brown that ineffective of a passer?
So...Maryland vs. Michigan is going to be yet another slog between two teams that are bad on offense? At least Michigan's defense seems to be better than Marylands. That's something, I guess.
November 11th, 2014 at 12:53 PM ^
of the season. Maryland isn't really good, but they shine occaionally and they make less mistakes than we do. Also their Special teams is obviously better 11-11 (what a concept). It will be more like the NW game with maybe a little more offense.. The announcement will say 103,000+ but the truth might be 95-98,000 depending on the weather.

I for one expect Michigan to completely dominate on the defensive side of the ball - and expect the offense to click a bit a la Indiana this year.
I see this game being very much like the PSU game - however, both teams will score more points.
Realistic outcome:
Good guys: 24
Bad Guys:17

This could easily be cousin of M00N.
Michigan could utterly and physically dominate this game and still need Frank Clark to cave in half the Offense on a late 2pt conversion to save it.
