I would normally agree, but Fitz has done an extraordinary amount of dancing rather than heading upfield this game. I'm not saying replace him as the starter, just give a couple carries to the other backs to see if they can have better success.

Like that play, if he just drives forward, it's 4 yards. instead he gets nothing.

He had one run at the beginning of the 2nd half against ND, but that is about it. Not sure what the issue is, but he looked a lot more decisive last season. I am sure it's a combination of the OL and how he's running. I'd like to see another RB get some reps though, especially Rawls.

Let's stop running Denard now that we have a sure victory. Please.
October 6th, 2012 at 6:45 PM ^
you want him to start throwing on every down?

Looks like they might be headed for a third-set tiebreaker.
Arizona has 598 yards, Stanford 572.

anyone? Denard has this game wrapped up. Time for #8 to get some time.
October 6th, 2012 at 6:46 PM ^
this half. The D is playing well and Purdue's O is obviously mediocre at best. Normally I don't like when teams sit on the lead, but sometimes the circumstances are appropriate to do so.

October 6th, 2012 at 6:45 PM ^
FYI, Denard has 89.9% of our offensive yardage right now.

Gibbons now 3/4 on FGs today.

Arizona-Stanford going to OT tied at 48. Could we see another 67-65 3OT-esque game?
October 6th, 2012 at 6:54 PM ^
68 first downs.
1198 total yards.
and that's just in regulation.
October 6th, 2012 at 6:50 PM ^
Denard dings his throwing hand. Fackitty Fack Fack.
October 6th, 2012 at 6:52 PM ^
that's a bad joke right?
October 6th, 2012 at 6:54 PM ^
Unfortunately nope, he hit his own hip on the follow-through on the third down play of the previous drive.
