Why do they do this to me?  On the day when lingerie is deemed normal attire for 20-30 yr olds women....

Living out of state, it is slightly less likely it'll socially acceptible for me to watch the game out at social events and I already used the majority of me data streaming the MSU game at a wedding...

*sigh*

it is because they think they can get a better game in the ABC slot.  That would be my guess.  If Minnesota was any good like they were supposed to be and if The Thing That We Shall Not Speak Of had not taken place then I can see sending Fowler and Herbie, but let's be honest, ABC can probably find something a little better than that impending beatdown.

Temple vs. ND is in the ABC timeslot now. Which makes sense: Temple is in the top 25 for the first time in forever, and ABC nearly always puts ND on when it can.

As a MN resident and childless adult, I'm happy: standing outside at 10pm in late october is not and ideal situation around these parts.

When the game was scheduled at night, I believe that the Big Ten Network was considered a real possibility. ESPN is an upgrade IMO. Of course, our start made ABC a real possibility, but whatever. At beginning of the season this looked like a throwaway game.

This is when it has always been, no?

I had already accepted being a good Dad to take my son trick-or-treating was more important than going ot the game...sigh...please don't tell me they are moving it earlier so I will miss a good chunk on TV.

I'm in CST. I just checked and it still says 7:00 PM CST.

EDIT: I just checked again. The official Gopher football schedule has been changed to 6:00 PM CST.

Sigh...now I will not only miss going to the game, but I will also be walking around our neighborhood while the game is on. The Boy better get some good candy to share!!!

Last time I remember UM having a halloween game was the 2009 Illinois debacle.   I made a kid dressed up in full MSU football gear at my door cry.

Not a big deal with the exception that it opens us up to missing the first quarter if the 3:30 ESPN game goes too long.  Those of you who DVR your games, be ready for this.

ESPN's Saturday night game is always at 7:00--they want to get to SportsCenter by 11:00 on the East Coast.

I think this was unofficially slotted as a possibility for ABC, which is of course at 8:00.  With Michigan's loss, ABC went with another option and the Michigan-Minnesota game fell back to ESPN.  The sad thing?  The 8:00 ABC game is Notre Dame at Temple.

Temple.

Trick or treating in the middle of the day for "safety?" The fuck?! I am glad I was able to actually be a kid and do dumb stuff. Now every kid is told they are a "special flower" and are protected beyond belief. What a joke.

Not a lot of marquee matchups on October 31.  The ABC night game could wind up being USC at Cal with a 5:00 PM Pacific start or Notre Dame at Temple, giving a rare prime time appearance for an American Athletic Conference team, IF Temple wins at East Carolina on Saturday while Notre Dame has a bye. College GameDay in the City of Brotherly Love on Halloween, with lots of signs about Bill Cosby, could make for must-watch TV.

What else is left for ABC on that day? Ole Miss at Auburn? Tennessee at Kentucky? Miami (FL) at Duke, as a courtesy to Coach K, with College GameDay at Krzyzewskiville, the day after Duke’s exhibition game against 2015 NCAA Division II Champion Florida Southern and with Dickie V as the guest picker?

Its a rough week for college football on paper.  Which probably means a lot of upsets!  As someone else said Temple vs ND might be the only matchup of ranked teams.

There is not a single game currently scheduled for 8 PM now with this move to 7 PM. Hmm .  Miami Duke is 7 pm as is Kentucky Tenn - I mean that's the competition right now.

ND Temple is TBD and looks like the only game to go to 8. Maybe they do USC Cal as well if USC shows anything next week.
