Michigan v. Illinois (MBB)/Michigan v. Iowa (WBB) Thread

Mates,

The men tip off at 2 on CBS.  Our ladies tip off at 4 on ESPN 2.

Also of note, the top 6 teams in men's hoops all lost yesterday, as did the #9 team.  A new record of losses in one Saturday for the top 10.

Let's help the Illini men and Iowa ladies, respectively, continue that ranked-teams-losing streak.

Go Blue, Beat them Illini and Hawkeyes!

@lakewylie,

i think we're at least 2 wins away from getting off the bubble, and that's if we can beat the illini today and ohio next week.  but you start with one game at a time, so let's go blue, win today and we're that much closer.

What's the end of game theory called where with 2 or so minutes left, a team up by at least 7 or so...activates the end of the clock and its up to the teams to score and make stops to end the game.  The team down has to make stops and make up the difference plus get 7 more points. Fouling becomes unnecessary and detrimental.

Yea...whose brilliant concept was that and when does that really start to become a potential solution for this shit?!

The things we do for our kids. My daughter has a band concert today where she has a saxophone solo in the jazz band portion, which will cause me to have to leave by 2:50.

The irony is that she also contemplated skipping the concert to watch the basketball game.
