Michigan Makes Final Cut for Five-Stars Flory Bidunga and Boogie Fland

Brighter days ahead, perhaps? Five-star big man Flory Bidunga and five-star guard Boogie Fland have both announced their final schools, and we've made the cut for both of them. Both of them have also been on campus, so that's a good thing.

We're in the final four for Flory (ranked No. 4 nationally) and the final eight for Boogie (ranked No. 8).

The final cut is when a team is picked. This would be a semi-final cut. Making the semi-final hasn't been a problem for us. It's what happens when we get there.

Most likely won't land either, but hopefully we can grab one and some solid 4 stars that can stick around for 2 years.

Side note, Rutgers pulling the top 2 recruits in the country even though Dylan hasn't committed yet is insanely impressive.

Has this staff not learned anything from chasing the 5 star train? Even when we actually landed them it didnt bring much success. I would really love to see more focus on players generally rated 40-120 than going all in on the national 5 stars. It hasn't worked yet and the program had far, far more momentum a couple years ago. I think Howard really needs to rethink his entire approach to recruiting and roster management.
