Michigan's arrest record under Hoke
Holier-than-thou rigmarole is lame and indefensible, but as a pragmatic fan I also know how inevitable it can be between rivals. But before I start making silly comments abroad (in reaction to the OSU arrestapalooza), I want to be prepared. And knowing the arrest list of Michigan players under Hoke will help me get there. So what does the list look like?
Frank Clark
Fitz Toussaint
(...)
I am under the impression that the list is ~5 members long and am forgetting the rest.
I really can't see a problem with tempting fate like this.
All he did was ask a simple question. I mean, that's what your neg button is for.
And your spelling is atrocious.
Don't worry, at least one person got it. Cheezy but effective, I'm still giggling a bit.
and wondering how anyone on this board could have thought he was being serious. Also, I thought it was hilarious.
well played :)

I believe this brings Urb's total to 10 or 11. Who are they?
Klein
Mewhort
Stoneburner
Bell
Hyde
Roby
Gardner
Baugh
Who else?
Bell was never arrested...not sure where you guys are getting this info.
Hyde has also not been arrested...yet.
A lil copy n paste for you:
Reports show Bell arrested:
...highly touted safety recruit Vonn Bell was arrested for an open container in Tennessee after the vehicle he was riding in was pulled over and the driver was issued a DWI. Normally, an open container would warrant a ticket and a fine. Perhaps the fact that he is underage had something to do with his arrest?
As for Hyde, I have a feeling he hasn't been arrested because the victim hasn't been interviewed yet and there is possibly video of the (alleged) assault given that most bars have CCTV. They're going to want to make sure to get the details right before charging (or, if you believe the conspiracy folk, allow time for the victim to get paid off). Fairly safe bet that if the early reports are true (coming from the roommate of the victim) that he'll be arrested soon. If they thought he was a flight risk, he'd probably have been arrested at this point, but there's no harm in making sure you're i's are dotted and t's crossed.
That is not a credible site. Bell was not named in the PR put out by OSU today and he was asked specifically if he was arrested and said he was not.
I'd trust a random website more than I would the OSU AD's office. It's not like they lied, repeatedly, about ineligble players and played an entire season with them not too long ago. Of course, if you're clinging to "he hasn't been charged yet" or "there were only 5 guys arrested in separate incidents this weekend, not 6", well...then you're probably a good buckeye.
OSU's AD office never lied about anything...Tressel never told anyone. I did a quick google search of Vonn Bell and didn't find anything. So either that one obsecure site has it correct or eveyone else doesn't know yet...
11W had a story about this in the past...just add in today's (this week's) crop and OSU has taken the lead

According to ArrestNation.com
OSU arrests since Meyer's hire on Nov. 23, 2011:
Bri’onte Dunn (July 2012)
Dominic Clarke (January 7, 2012)
Jack Mewhort (June 2, 2012)
Jacob Stoneburner (June 2, 2012)
Storm Klein (July 6, 2012)
Michigan arrests since Hoke's hire on Jan. 11, 2011:
Fitzgerald Toussaint (July 21, 2012)
Frank Clark (June 2012)
Will Campbell (April 7, 2012)
Josh Furman (February 11, 2012)
Marvin Robinson (November 2011)
Darryl Stonum (May 6, 2011)
Might make sense to pair the arrests with what finally happened with the case for context. By that I mean, for example, Will Campbell being arrested for trying (and spectacularly failing) to slide across a car hood is far less serious than striking a lady.
Cuts both ways, Klein also had the domestic violence charges against him dropped.
came out after the fact is was pretty clear it was ridiculous for the prosecuter to pursue the charges against him in the first place. He acted with poor judgement in handling the situation, not like a criminal.
In Klein's case it seems like the victim in the case not wanting to move forward, is the only thing that stopped the case from moving forward. That is pretty common in domestic abuse situations, and it does not mean that he was innocent.
Ohio list is badly out of date.
Campbell shouldn't even count. He jsut tried to be Dukes of Hazard and slide accross the hood of a car.
So Urban has two more arrests, and he got hired almost a year later.
Later tonight we could hear of 5 more OSU players arrested.
Hoke didn't have a choice. You can't let a player get a DUI and not suspend them for at least 1 game. Had they played Eastern Michigan the first game he would have sat. Just bad luck Alabama was the first game.
I believe he sat on it.
I believe at some point it was quoted as "he went all Dukes of Hazard on the car hood"
No no, this is brilliant. It's a preemtive anti-jinx.
EDIT:
Objectively, I'm not sure why the OP is taking so much heat. His intentions (i.e. be prepared and knowledgeable in case Ohio fans start talking shit) seem to be solid.
Unless he is planning on actively trolling Ohio people, which would be a rather tasteless and karmically unwise thing to do.
Please don't act like this is a glass houses and stones situation. UM hasn't had anyone sniff legal trouble in a year.
Meyer is up to 15 different kids before year two has even started. One out of three Gators he brought to UF got arrested.
On top of that, one out of three kids remaining on the roster got kicked off the team under Muschamp - just because they thought they could continue acting out. Muschamp swiftly slapped the silver spoon out of their mouths. The remaining kids hastily shaped up. Janoris Jenkins will be the first to tell you about how the new regime at UF is a stricter one.
It's hilarious how OSU fans will be the first to differentiate between Hoke and Meyer's winning percentage, but try and compare their arrest track records. Meyer stands alone in that category, end of story.
I propose that the whimsical Phil Fulmer Cup be renamed the Urban Meyer Cup. Edit: I see in another thread that I was beaten to the punch by someone on another website.
BWC only jumped on one hood; it became two after he landed
it appears he wasn't arrested for it.
should be added to the UM ledger.
That was actually after he had left the team....but who can forget the embarassing picture of the pot nestled amongst the adidas team gear in his backseat.
was while he was on the team.
I can't post threads yet, but OSU had yet another arrest:
