Recent alumni should still be able to access the career center Engenius.Jobs page. Not sure how long this works for though after graduation. |

Several former players have had success going straight to a head coaching job in the NBA, I've heard Mark Jackson and Doc Rivers mentioned recently in news stories about this. The key difference is that Kidd is just weeks away from retiring as a player whereas the others worked in other roles, specifically broadcasting, before making the jump. He certainly could have continued playing for another season or two, so the thought of him becoming a player-coach is somewhat intriguing. Very unlikely, but it doesn't seem too farfetch'd to me.

I don't recall 18 games ever being a standard number of times to play division opponents. I seem to remember the number fluctuating annually and being inconsistent (i.e. 12 games against one division opponenent, 19 against another). |

Any hockey fans/historians out there know why the PCHA or WCHL are included? Were they effectively NHL equivalents at one point? |

It's still unclear how his eligibility to play in high school may be affected, although I would think it was something he would consider prior to transfering. |

I think there is some sort of clause in the CBA which allows for punishment if there is proof that a player obtained/posessed a banned substance. That being said I don't know what actually counts as proof. A list of names is something which is easily falsified and on its own doesn't prove possession of PEDs ever actually happened. |

Loved the way he described what a sack was: "You take all the offensive linemen and put them in a burlap bag, and then you take a baseball bat and beat on the bag. You're sacking them, you're bagging them. And that's what you're doing with a quarterback." |

It's quite common for universities to partner on research initiatives across all fields of study so it is likely that several SEC schools partner in some way. Whether there is a conference wide partnership, I don't know, but there may be. It just so happens that many B1G schools have respectable cancer research institutes, facilities, etc. so in conjunction with the existing athletic relationship it seems to be a logical partnership.

Without knowing much about the facilities themselves, I would think that it might have something to do with research institue vs treatment center. |
| 2 weeks 1 day ago | Based on context of footbal |
Based on context of footbal in which an SEC fan might say that, responding with "We're better at cancer research," isn't exactly the argument I would utilize, particularly when any amount of cancer research is potentially beneficial. |

I hope you don't...as much as this is a great effort, the contributions of any institue, whether a conference consortium like this or individual school (including those in the SEC) to cancer research deserves to be applauded. |
