Former Michigan LB Jake Ryan of GB Packers season-ending injury?

Some sad news potentially regarding former Michigan LB Jake Ryan of the Green Bay Packers.  Seems he may have injured his right knee this week during 11-on-11 drills. Ryan was set to start at ILB for the Packers

"He was just devastated," Martinez said after practice. "Obviously, he was super-excited about the season. He's been putting a tremendous amount of work in. He's been awesome throughout OTAs and these past four practices. It's been good for him. It's just really tough.

"I talked to him right after I got off the field. Basically, told him if he needs anything, I'm here for him. I obviously don't know the extent of it. Obviously, everybody will know when they know. I'm just praying for him and hoping the best for him. I know he'll come back even stronger."

Wishing Mr. Ryan a fast and decisive recovery from this injury.

There’s been no official word from the Packers on his diagnosis, and it’s been a bit since this happened.  I’m still holding out some hope that this one will be a “Much less severe than it seemed” type of deal.  I may have missed something though.

Season ending injuries on the same knee twice in the same week?  What are the chances?!

Now excuse me while I go post this weird thing I just read about Harbaugh and eating chicken.
