when people act like this is a news channel and try to "break something" on the board by posting a thread with just the title and nothing else, then coming in the thread and editing it after it's up just so you can be the first one to post it.

fyi, OP votes do not count.

As a counter, and by all means I am annoyed when people point out duplicate topics, but some posters here, especially during the season, seemingly never even look at the first page of the Board before posting something they've found on the front page of ESPN, assuming this 4-day-old story about Devin Gardner has been missed by the most obsessive parts of this fanbase.

remember him better as "Michigan Man1960", as that (I believe) was his actual screen name.  Most instead refer to him as "Herm", as that was his signature at the end of each post.    "Herm" somewhat skillfully masqueraded as a wise senior citizen and got away with it for awhile before finally being exposed as a troll a couple years ago.  As with most trolls, I'm sure he's found his way back under another identity.

People taking the OT labeling rules super seriously. I think we all know the weekly Game of Thrones thread is off topic without needing to freak out when it doesn't say OT in the title.

My pet peeve is the same as yours except when people DON'T edit the thread and provide as little information as possible, such as acronyms, referring to recruits by only their last names or their initials, etc. If you're gonna break something you better take the time to provide the info.

For example:

Smith to take official to Michigan

Who the hell is Smith? Does he play football? Baseball? Field hockey? Is he a 4 star? A 2 star?

Etc
