Looking ahead at the remainder of the schedule
I started thinking about the remainder of the schedule and what we've seen over the last 6 games now isn't a trend it's what Michigan is.
With that said if we look at each game one at a time, how does the season not play out like this?
W vs Rutgers. Because Rutgers just plain sucks.
L vs Iowa. Iowa is Wiscy lite. Don't let Iowa's performance against ISU fool you -- they historically struggle in that game. Just like Michigan has a fight on their hands with Iowa typically.
W at Illinois. Yea for Peters and all but this is still a bad team.
L at Penn State
L vs Notre Dame
L at Maryland. I'll get some negs here but Don Brown doesn't have an answer for offenses like this.
W vs Michigan State. Fuck staee and their delusional sexual assault condoning fanbase.
L at Indiana.
L vs Ohio State.
That would make Michigan 5-7. I hope you have alternate plans for your Saturdays.
Again, going back to the last 6 games, the coaching we've seen, tell me I'm wrong.

Do you people seriously not understand the fucking concept of the snowflake threads?
September 21st, 2019 at 6:02 PM ^
You must not understand the concept of hot take threads. These threads are meant for the OP's opinion to be validated. In the snowflakes threads, their comments won't be seen by most people due to getting buried in them. They're all for attention.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:12 PM ^
They're all for attention.
I could give two shits about getting attention. That's your MO given your posting history.
This was meant to be an honest, sobering, wakeup call that given the state of the program, the record by the end of November could be .500 rather than the B1G and CFP that people were predicting 4 weeks ago here.

Nobody knows anybody. I don’t even know who i am.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:01 PM ^
We're beating Iowa in the Big House. I have no doubt. We're also not losing to Maryland or Indiana.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:05 PM ^
We're also not losing to Maryland
How is this D going to stop that scheme?
or Indiana.
Apparently you didn't see the IU game last year nor the first 3 games this year.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:14 PM ^
Iowa is going to crush this soft ass team in The Big House. They match up very well with the Wolverines.
September 21st, 2019 at 10:17 PM ^
I don’t see us beating Iowa. 10-21 is my prediction for that game. It’s that close because Ferentz will punt on all 4th downs. Thanks Kirk for letting us keep it somewhat close.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:02 PM ^
They will be 5-1 going into Penn St
September 21st, 2019 at 6:24 PM ^
They will be 5-2 going out.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:04 PM ^
I love the ‘tell me in wrong posts’
September 21st, 2019 at 6:05 PM ^
Still plenty of chances to fix a bad narrative. Penn State, MSU, ND, OSU. Only one on the road. Win some games and the talk goes away. Franklin was on the hot seat until they beat OSU
September 21st, 2019 at 6:05 PM ^
You are wrong. 5-7 is too generous. Probably an MSU like 3-9
September 21st, 2019 at 6:05 PM ^
That's a bit excessive on the losses.
4 total losses, 3 more ... to the teams that count.
I'm sorry.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:12 PM ^
Maybe we’re following the OSU script. Get your ass beat by a B1G West school and run the table.
I picked a terrible time to stop sniffing glue.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:09 PM ^
After the shit I've seen for 3 games I have 7-6
Hopefully.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:10 PM ^
Nah, we're going 10-3 again, look pretty ugly doing it, get blown out by OSU, etc. Time is a flat circle.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:10 PM ^
We beat Indiana but lose to Sparty
September 21st, 2019 at 6:11 PM ^
We'll finish 7-5 with losses to Wisconsin, Iowa, MSU, PSU and of course OSU.
Beat the teams you're supposed to and choke against any decent team with comparable talent. It's the Michigan way. BPONE forever.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:17 PM ^
You're forgetting ND.we can't stop them either.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:27 PM ^
Damn you're right. 6-6.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:12 PM ^
I'll keep this thread in mind. Let's return to it on December 1st. I think this outcome is *possible*, but I also think it could easily end up going the other way, and we end up 8-4. Now anything better than 8-4 may require a leap of faith that I am not willing to make at this time based on what this team has shown.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:16 PM ^
Where do see 8 wins??? OSU, PSU, ND are guaranteed losses. Probably MSU too, that defense will feast on this inept offense. Iowa will grind out a slow win.
6-6 is possible considering the quality of play and coaching, but I doubt it.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:36 PM ^
We can win MSU, Iowa, Maryland, Rutgers, Indiana and Illinois. If I learned anything the last decade is that Michigan at home is a different team than on the road. That's not me guaranteeing that, that's me saying it's possible.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:14 PM ^
Rutgers and Illinois are possible wins. PSU, Iowa, ND, OSU are guaranteed losses. I think State is a loss too. This offense can't score on MSUs defense.
Playing like they are, Michigan won't win 5 games.
Take the emotion out of it, this team is bad and should not be ranked. Beating Rutgers is not a given with no running game and no second string QB.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:29 PM ^
Come on. Rutgers and Illinois are wins. After that I agree with you. PSU, ND, and OSU are almost guaranteed losses. Iowa is most likely a loss. That means they need 2 wins been Maryland, MSU, and IU just to be bowl eligible.
September 21st, 2019 at 10:18 PM ^
Iowa at home is a guaranteed loss? That's BS.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:17 PM ^
For starters I wouldn't let anything against Iowa St. fool me because they're one of the better coached teams in the country
September 21st, 2019 at 6:20 PM ^
Wins against Iowa, Rutger, Illini, and Maryland.
Loses against the rest
6-6
September 21st, 2019 at 6:23 PM ^
You think this offense can outscore Maryland?
September 21st, 2019 at 6:31 PM ^
Maryland didn't put much offense up on the only functional defense they've played so far in Temple last week.
September 21st, 2019 at 11:33 PM ^
Transitive property I know I know but that Temple team that Maryland struggled to do anything against just got throttled by Buffalo...and not the Bills.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:36 PM ^
This is a good post. Not making a bowl game is certainly possible this season.
September 21st, 2019 at 6:59 PM ^
Fuck your opinion. It’s not worth another thread dumbass.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:07 PM ^
You’re wrong
September 21st, 2019 at 7:08 PM ^
This team has 8-4 talent and will go 7-5 to 9-3
September 21st, 2019 at 9:05 PM ^
We're not beating OSU, no chance.
Not beating PSU on the road and not beating ND.
Locksley will out coach Gattis and Dantonio will out defense this lame offense.
That's 6 losses at least
September 21st, 2019 at 7:09 PM ^
I love this fan base. Lose on the road to a Top 15 team?
Fuck it we’re going 5-7.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:25 PM ^
“Lose on the road” is a funny way to say bludgeoned like helpless baby seals. My children saw that beating live. They may need counseling.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:48 PM ^
Taylor had almost 150 rushing yards and 2 TD in the First. Fucking. Quarter. Michigan’s running backs had a combined 0 rushing yards at the half. They were down 28-0 at halftime. They didn’t just “lose,” they lost like a MAC school. Show me on the schedule how this beyond-awful team wins even five more games.
September 21st, 2019 at 7:35 PM ^
ok, You're wrong.
Can we end this thread now?
September 21st, 2019 at 7:37 PM ^
They’re missing a bowl game this year. They definitely will lose to PSU, ND, and OSU. They’ll probably lose to Iowa and MSU. That’s 6-6 right there. Indiana has always given Harbs problems, especially on the road, and Brown can’t coach against offenses that have a pulse (possibly Maryland). Somehow if they win both, 6-6. They could just as easily lose both and go 4-8.
Regardless, this was supposed to be Harbaugh’s best season here and it’s going to be his worst instead. What a nightmare.
September 21st, 2019 at 9:58 PM ^
Yea I honestly only see two more wins on the schedule. I feel well pick up one more somewhere putting us at 2014 Hoke levels. All this talent on a team and quite possibly 5 wins. Horrendous. It makes me super sad I’m scared of losing to MSU. That defense is going to shred this O

Your punishment for this thread is you must eat your own shit.
September 22nd, 2019 at 7:26 AM ^
Rutgers - W
Iowa - W
@Illini - W
@PSU - L
ND - W (although ND is a very good team - but playing at home helps)
@Maryland - W
MSU - W
IU - W
OSU - L
9-3
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:44 AM ^
Right now, I've got this team loosing next to IA then Penn State, ND & MD and last Ohio State for a 6 and 6 record. Indiana is way down this year.
It will be very difficult for this team to recover from the thrashing by Wisconsin. I'll need to see a 63-0 blowout over Rutgers to even have some hope. Maybe we'll face EMU in a bowl game in December.
September 22nd, 2019 at 9:26 AM ^
I am as down on this team as anyone, but you are a moron.
