/ I already have a ticket to hell; can I upgrade it to first class with this
hell yea! now we must have a season!!
w()()()()()()())()t!
Damn I miss sports.
Makes sense, and really happy to see him back. Hopefully there's a season for him to play in.
HAIL YES!
I expected him to return and he did.
The floor and ceiling of next season's team just improved significantly.
Agreed, the ceiling is the roof!
Sincerely,
M. Jordan
Hail yes!! Just saw this in his Instagram! If we have bball this season, this team should be exciting.
Yay!
Really hope we get to see him play.
Football, as a sport, can put on face shields. That at least covers the on field part of the equation. I'm not sure what Basketball could do? According to health professionals, you need the nose and mouth covered. That eliminates specially made masks for basketball players that only cover a part of the face for breathing purposes.
the NBA starts up first so we can learn from them
Neck gaiters and masks reduce oxygen intake. I suspect playing while wearing one might be similar to playing at elevation. The Denver Nuggets exist.
If that allows the basketball season to happen, so be it. Teams will adjust. There will be more substitution and your bench will be more important. The old 6-7 man John Beilein rotation won’t work. Instead of iron man guys playing 36-40 minutes, maybe they go 30-32 minutes. But again, if that lets basketball happen, put a giant asterisk on the season and tip-off.
I have to believe that there is not going to be an NBA season, so he may as well come back for the free ride and practice.
More than likely, there won't be an NCAA basketball season either, but you never know.
Aren’t they starting back up in two weeks’ time? Is there serious talk it’s being scrapped?
I know some guys haven’t or won’t report to Orlando due to COVID, but it sure seems like they’re ready to go. Or are as ready as they’re going to be.
Baseball just got some good news at least. They reported only 6 case out of like 10,000+ tests. So that's...encouraging, I guess?
You are thinking of a continuation of the 2019 season that was suspended.
The 2020 NBA draft Livers would have been in will be held on October 16, 2020 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
If Covid returns, the next NBA season/draft may be up in the air. May as well get a chance to practice and possibly graduate if at Michigan.
Yay! Looks like 2020 can’t quite ruin everything.
Hail
...YEAH!!!
Happy to have him back. I will celebrate tonight by punishing my liver.
Let’s go!!!
Futile gesture. But, appreciate the thought.
POS-(itive)-BANG!
We'll be moving on up!
Nice to see a non-controversial Jefferson reference we all can get behind...
Yeah! Now let’s have a season!
Before the Covid stuff happened, I posted that he was almost certain to stay. This was based on information received from a guy at IU. This guy also shared other news about some Michigan players over the last few years. And then shortly after I posted that he posted his message basically saying goodbye and I thought it was pretty strange. The way he worded his original message I would have assumed he was leaving. Which was less than a week after a source telling me he was staying. I say all of this to say that I’m sure these decision are not easy for these guys. High school kids committing to colleges and college guys trying to make the best decision on whether to make the jump to pros. A lot goes into these decisions and even more so now with so much in limbo.
I’m happy he is coming back and hopefully there will be a season. I could see him staying healthy and playing his way into the back end of the first round.
This means his ankle is still messed up and the NBA won't take him until Michigan heals him, doesn't it?
Still bummed about DeJulius' transfer, but Livers and Wagner is an exciting duo to have returning.
Hoping for more minutes and a nice step forward for Brandon Johns, Jr., too. Also excited to see what we have in Zeb Jackson.
I am absolutely thrilled about the veteran leadership on this team. Over the years, you can tell the success that the big programs have had with a lot of upperclassmen on their team.
There are juniors and seniors all across this roster. And if Brown can get immediately eligible, I really do not see a glaring weakness in the starting 5, especially if Dickinson can get established early.
