My favorite thing every year (because Im really not into NFL football) is when the Lions win a few meaningless games to screw themselves out of a top 5 pick, some fans are ecstatic about the win despite screwing draft position and then the draft comes around and those same fans are saying we should trade up…

And thats fine I guess. Id argue against it, but its fine. The entertainment for me is when the fans that celebrate the meaningless wins then want the GM to trade up into a slot we would have had if we just lost in the first place 🤷🏻‍♂️

Some jackass is gonna celebrate a win on the final game of the year to drop us from picking #3 to #7 and then tweet constantly about trading up to 3 to pick Anderson. Since I really don’t dont care for the NFL, thats my amusement in March/April.

Keep in mind the Rams are now, what,  3-6?

Lions get their first round pick as well, due to the Stafford trade.

Summary: year 1 of the Stafford trade- bring a Super Bowl to our (former Lions) legendary qb that never had a competent coaching staff or roster around him!!!"

Year 2- now that #9 has a ring,  eff the Rams cheer them on to lose because the Meows get a higher 1st round pick..

Fields is playing better at QB than the start of the year but they've now lost 3 games in which he's averaged around 6.5 ypa, around 150 yards passing, and 65% completion.  He's been dynamic running the ball but long-term a guy who struggles throwing downfield isn't going to make it in the league with his legs.

This feels like a bit of false hope for the Bears with Fields.  Defenses will adjust to his legs and then we'll see he can mature as a passer because right now it doesn't feel all that sustainable.

We can’t even lose right. Go down 1-6 and now they decide they want to play/win. Can’t wait for that LB instead of a franchise QB.
