Well, duh -- he should have just gone with the decided schematic advantage.

Sucks to be the Irish. Heh.

If the play clock was correct on the screen, MSU didn't get the play off in time...

That would never happen...

Edit: Was pointed out on Twitter that the stadium clock says 01 in this picture.

CANT BELIEVE IT!

I didn't know there was such a thing as a Sparty, Yes! moment until then.

46 yard field goal attempt with an unproven kicker...someone should have been guarding against that. They let that dude run all by himself - no one even looked.
Didn't take long for Brian Kelly to jump on the old hot seat.

stanzi with almost another pick
September 19th, 2010 at 12:02 AM ^
... and another one right there.
Hey Ricky, you're so fine, you're so fine, you blow my mind!
September 19th, 2010 at 12:01 AM ^
...And another near-pick.

Right now, in his basement, Rich Rodriguez is laughing while drinking a beer and toasting the new "genius" of college football and savior of Notre Dame Brian Kelly.

I knew ND was going to lose when they attempted that FG. When you're the first team you have to score a TD. Kicking the FG is basically hoping for a second OT.

You heard it here first.

I was about to ask if you were "THE KNOWLEDGE"... But them Iowa missed the PAT
September 19th, 2010 at 2:10 AM ^
Early in the thread he asked if anyone was that scared of MSU, Iowa, or Wisconsin...and then the first two have made big comebacks.

Regardless of who wins the Iowa-Ariz game, its good to see that decent offenses can still move the ball on the Hawks.
We will score some points on this team, can our defense + Rick Six win us the game?
September 19th, 2010 at 1:23 AM ^
Is watching Lou Holtz die a little more inside as he has to talk about ND's loss to MSU.
September 19th, 2010 at 1:35 AM ^
Man, Stanzi sucks.
September 19th, 2010 at 1:43 AM ^
Boy is Iowa glad that instant replay exists these days. Man what an ugly football game.
September 19th, 2010 at 1:49 AM ^
You know, I almost went to bed because I thought this game was over...
EDIT: Hey, Iowa has kicker problems too!
September 19th, 2010 at 2:10 AM ^
Iowa got a few breaks to keep it close, but I thought Arizona thoroughly outplayed them on both sides of the ball.
The top of the Pac-10 is extremely solid. Stanford and Arizona look very solid, and Oregona looks like a NC contender. Scary that their conference's 4th best team may be USC, who is probably the most talented of the bunch.
