Due to COVID, the BIG should make an exception to the rules, award Michigan the Season and Tournament Championship and NCAA selection committee award them the #1 seed in the national tourney and automatic bid to the Championship game where Louisville then forfeits. Go Blue!

The tired “we’ve played no one” take. They’ve played PSU, UCF (that win gets better as time goes on), and the probable MAC conference champion Ball State. Sure, the rest of the schedule was sub-par, but that’s not “no one”.

I would feel a lot better if one of those wins was against NC State, although that's no fault of our own. Also interested to see how the team to plays away from home.
Much more excited that Juwan hammered down the #1 recruiting class than the 6-0 record at this point.

I mean the PSU win is essentially the same as a win over NC State; they’re only a few spots away from each other according to Kenpom.

To me the issue isn't playing "no one", it's simply not playing enough". Given the make-up of this team, especially with the two grad transfers, it would benefit from being on the court and competing. I'm not sure why the schedule is so barren, especially compared to most other schools.

It’s got the potential to last for a month or so. Next ranked opponent we play is 1/12 against Wisconsin. To add to that, we don’t play a (currently) ranked team on the road until Valentines Day, at Wisconsin.

I would not be surprised to see Nebraska jump out to early lead tomorrow based off of what I’ve seen around the Big Ten. I think our team should win but this layoff could prove problematic at least in the beginning. Let’s hope I’m wrong and we get out to a fast start.

First road game of the season. Huskers are 4-4 with most recent game a loss at Wisconsin. Pound the rock inside and challenge them as they are not particularly tall. Play tight D as Neb is only shooting 65% from the charity line.
