Last chance for season predictions!

Submitted by Blue_sophie on

So with a little over an hour to kickoff, this is our last chance to concoct predictions for the season based on pure speculation.

My current favorite is from Ryan O’Hanlon:

"I like to imagine that Mark Dantonio has dreamt about Jim Harbaugh every night since the turn of the new year. And if he hasn’t, he better start soon, because Harbaugh’s khakis are freshly pleated, his shirt is nowhere to be found, he’s drenched in whole milk, and the Wolverines are coming for Sparty. As our own Riley McAtee outlined at the beginning of last month, Michigan looks pretty good beyond its coach, so the conditions could be there for Harbaugh’s omnipotent mania to turn that typical first-year-coach bump into a tsunami. The Wolverines won’t snag the Big Ten title, but they’ll have the most wins of any team in the Great Lakes State."

I would be very very happy if we exceed Sparty this year, regardless our exact win total.

What say you?

If we win today we should be undefeated going into the game versus Michigan State. I think we can seriously see at two loss Michigan season at worst.

If we lose against Utah all bets are off and we lose anywhere from 3-5 games on the season.

I expect a win today.

I am pretty sure that no one was supposed to know this save for some of us, but now that it is out there, the cover is $5 and the management is not responsibl for anything which may be lifted from your person if you are passed out on the floor. That's been a bone of contention in the past, but considering that security also participates in the drinking, it became a necessary disclaimer.

Undefeated non-conference, 6-2 B1G (including a monumental upset in at least one of our rivalry games.

Michigan Football is no longer wandering, no longer directionless, no longer rudderless.

I hope to all that's holy they win tonight, mosly because it will muzzle our enemies and energize the good guys, but win or lose I have every confidence of a winning season and, barring injuries, a bowl game win and the beginning of the progression to dominance.

Screw it. Go Blue. Win it all

The team will go 8-4 ,with the opportunity to make us all look foolish, if our QB play turns out to be a revelation.  Except for the one post above that JTGoBlue offered, everybody seems to be pretty close to the same...

The basement for this team should be 7-5....but I actually feel as like tonights game can go a long way for confidence wise.

If we win this game, I could honestly see us rolling thru the non-conference schedule & going 10-2 (OSU & MSU are the only teams on the schedule with more talent).

8-4, maybe 9-3 depending on how the O-Line and QB play progress over the season, but we will knock off one of the two rivals, and give the other all they can handle in a close game. No Big Ten title, and some holes to fix for next season, but the message will be heard loud and clear: the days of Michigan being being a doormat are over.
